No, what its saying is what many of us have quietly dreaded, and hoped had finally passed, or at least been put to sleep.
What that obscure aberration in data tells us, is despite what the numbers may show, regardless of yet another coaching staff, QB and entirely new generation of players with seemingly above average character, a different owner or for whatever reason, be warned that this team still possesses perhaps the most frustrating, and beleaguering tendency that nearly any long term dolphan can attest to.

The ability in crucial divisional games to tank for no likely reason at all.

 

Hmm..so the computers, analytics say the losses are on the coaches, not the talent level..

I don't see how you arrived at that conclusion. The players still needed to go out and play regardless of what the computer said they should do.

Sounds like your arriving at that conclusion yourself..... It's called execution...... The talent isn't executing to our/ accuscore's expectations. Something tells me that we have running backs decent enough to gain a few yards a game. Coaching is the reason they get squat.

Accuscore totally forgot about the players being bad too.

 

Except when it counts.

 

I don't need a computer to tell me anything that I can see plainly with my eyes...years worth. That's what a computer can never decipher. Anyone who saw this team play last week...knew...just knew.. All the talk and all the " data" plugged in was no match for what we all knew...the inevitable

 

Nobody said it's an end all be all, our team underwhelmed. ..and our QB played terrible.

Are people really bashing secs accuscore thread? Its a ****ing prediction and projection. Some people need to go outside FFS.

 

I don't think anyone took this as 100% accurate. It ended what? 12-4?so it was wrong 4 times out of 16 total? That's 25 percent. That means it was right 75% of the time. That means it was more likely to be right then wrong.
If it was 100% it would break the bank, which is impossible.

 

I think there's a bad interpretation of what it means when Accuscore is so correct.

If Accuscore finishes 12-4 which seems like a high percentage to me, then it says that the coaching staff consistently gets the players to bring to the table what you would predict they'd bring to the table based on previous performances as well as the performances of the other side.

But the team itself goes 8-8...which means you didn't really have much talent to do better.

 

Unlikely that a team would ever be completely predictable.

But I don't want to defend this staff too much. I just think there's an overestimation of the talent on the team, especially in relation to the professed scheme. The talent (much of which is overrated) has not been stocked according to what the coaches wanted to accomplish.
