Hello. I am an Ohio State fan and I am traveling to Miami for the Orange Bowl. I have been shopping tickets online. I am considering purchasing Field Club seats behind the OSU bench. On the SunLife website they of course speak very highly of these seats. Does anyone have any experience in sitting in these seats? Are they elevated at all? Are you able to see over the players? Are they obstructed at all? Alternatively, are there better seats at SunLife than these? (other than a suite, of course.) Thanks for your help guys.
I havent sat in those seats but youre an OSU fan...booooooooooooo Youre welcome here anyways. Theres a few OSU fans here
All the seats at Sun Life are great. I've sat in the nose bleeds at the very top and the view is great. I've sat at the 50 and those seats were great too. You'll have a great experience in any seats.
I have heard that SunLife is a great venue. I live in Tampa and have quite a few friends that travel to Miami frequently for Dolphins games. Coincidentally, they haven't sat in the field club seats either. I think I may just buy them and hope for the best.
It really is an underrated venue for viewing. The main issues people bring up are the heat and the fact that its tough to really get the place loud. Non issues for a fan going to see one major game. Not the same, but Ive been in just about all the seats as a kid during baseball season. I can't really say about the players obstructing view (I dont think they would) but I can say the view of the field is great unobstructed.
The field club is cool to experience, but it really cuts down on your sight lines imo. It can be hard to see the actual game, but the novelty is really awesome. Personally, my favorite seats are the 200 club level. I like sitting on the south side, about 5 rows back. Even if it rains you're still covered.
Definetly a great place to watch a game. It has a real professional feel unlike other nfl stadiums (tampa , jax, Pittsburgh are some stadiums that remind me of a college type feel). The main issue I have is how far away the field is to the action. The closer you are the farther you feel because of how flat the stadium feels. If you sit in the 100's make sure you site towards the middle. I have sat in every place one can sit (50 yard line 2nd row, club seats, and nose bleeds in the corner last row). Still love the stadium and the tailgating situation is very underrated. Don't know about field pass, just know that you probably won't be able to see much of the game.
