You go where the defense least expects you, always. It was a good call and the only shot they had at stopping it was the blitzer deflecting it.
That's what it looked like at the time. He was trying to stretch the left hammy or calf muscle. Surprised he didn't get rehydrated and come back in. Worked out fine though. Davis got some much needed crunch time snaps.
Patriot fan is THE biggest cry baby, maybe in all of sports. Holy crap, nothing but *****ing and moaning. My Twitter timeline (because of Bruins allegiance) is a sea of tears.
Well, if the pass would have went vertical and been incomplete, people would have been pissed off too. The play worked because the players executed. Can't see a reason to 2nd guess it.
Best thing? A shed load of guys on here had us winning this game. Not many negative excuse merchants posting before a ball was snapped. "Times they are a changin"
im just so glad we have a qb that can win games, who can make a mistake and shrug it off and comeback. plus the emergence of playmakers like clay and matthews. plus tannehill and wallace are starting to gel. so damn happy right now.
yeah im reading their forums just to see their perspective. alot of *****ing about the refs but also a lot of fans giving credit to miami.
This was not a gimme win by the Dolphins. The Patriots pulled out all stops in order to win this game and secure hometeam advantage throughout the playoffs. That could eventually result in their losing in the playoffs and that a victory as far I am concerned. We still making a lot of bonehead plays and much of that is on the coaching staff.Calling defensive timeouts effectively giving Brady a free timeouts is absolutely amateur,But overall we made our own luck and deserved the win.
No gimme whatsover.....and being down 10....then throwing up 17 unanswered....then coming back with a huge drive to retake the lead....No gimme whatsover!! HUGE W.....franchise defining perhaps.
I thought the defensive timeouts were smart as hell. Make sure you got the right defense called. Brady had the defense on it's heels at the time the defensive timeouts were called late in both halfs. The ones in the first half gave the offense time to score that TD to Wallace.
Someone said cramps, which is what it looked like from the way he was sitting on the field. Who was the DB that took a swipe at the ball instead of going for the tackle? Horrible, bench worthy play.
I agree. The past two weeks, our coaches have been criticized for not taking time outs. They learned.
Agreed. We screwed up against Carolina by not taking a timeout on 4th down. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
I think the other reason is too make sure the young DB's like Thomas and Davis were sure of their assignments, I bet it helped Thomas out on the that game saving INT.
