The key for Tannehill -or any QB for that matter - is to play your game, make your reads and take your shots when they are there. Never buy into the magnitude of any game or situation because this'll lead to less than optimal performance.

I think the match-ups favor us and we just have to go out and execute.

I can assure you the local media and fanbase is far more nervous than he is.

that's a nice thought, if that's the mindset our qb is in...but that's the unknown and exactly what im talking about..the player has to get to that mindset, the player has to fine the line of relaxed body and quick mind.

What I want to see from Tannehill are sign that when it counts most Down the stretch, he leads this team in ways that make me say "Man he's a clutch guy".

    Things I hope to see:
    - going in for the kill once in the redzone. Being able to hit a TD strike from around the 10-20 yd line.
    - 4th quarter TDs
    - lifting the team when it seems to need it, getting the huddle and offenses energy turned around if it's slumping
    - shots of him on the sideline working with other players or coaches and using every second to try to get that team moving towards winning (no shots of him laughing with Matt Moore and seemingly catching a break relaxing a bit... Not now... Not in a playoff spot hunt.. Go get in a receivers face, or support and encourage the RB who fumbled, or get right in there with Sherman or Philbin to make some minor adjustments to what you're seeing out there... Or go over pictures from the booth... In short, do what Brady and Manning do when not on the field)
    - Just win baby
    - post a QBR average above 85 in these last four games. That will impress me the most.

What I want to see from Tannehill..

Quicker reflexes in the pocket..the rest I'm not worried about.

Time to show his progress on the field. He has to be ready to step up his game to the level we need from him to win important games, consistently. In today's game 4,000 yards is a decent accomplishment but can he put this team on his shoulders and get us into the playoffs? Dan Marino could in year one, time for Tannehill to step it up. To his credit we have no OL and no running game, but excuses are what we as a fan base are tired of hearing for 13 years or so.

If he posted 4k+ yards and got close to a 2:1 td int ratio people would still complain about him. I would be thrilled, however. I suppose It's gotta be 5k yards 50 tds 0 ints or bust.... And he actually has to catch them after he throws them too. Then just maybe he will be okay.

Interesting how he only had 200 passing yards yesterday but played IMO one of, if not the best game he's ever played. He showed a lot in beating the Steelers, especially when I thought we were finished, he brought us back to win the game. He's developing nicely IMO, if we give him an OL and running game, look out.
