To me he seemed to lack quickness in his lower body when trying to get the outer edge. Thats not so much technique as physical makeup, which rarely changes. But Wake apparently took OV under his wing and Wake is becoming legendary for his commitment to perfecting his body for his craft. I'm thinking he helped OV train properly. Kudos to that kid man because what he did in changing his physicality has made him a better player. I underestimated OV's commitment AND Wake's training regimen being transferable to another player. Glad to be wrong.
Ya, just like people said use UPS or FedEx. It's cheaper if you get a FedEx account and then pre-print the label and fudge the weight a little bit. Never tried to ship a whole six-pack, if you're sending bottles especially 750mls using Styrofoam wine shippers works well.
I was wrong about him. Early on it seemed to me that he'd be just another guy. He might not be the most polished guy out there, but he just never, ever stops.

My M-i-L used to be involved in a wine club - four to six bottles a month. My wife and I didn't know this until we had to clean her house after her death.. We found carton after carton of the stuff in styrofoam shipper in a heavy duty cardboard shipping box. (Shipping almost cost as much as the wine... that ought to tell you something!) Not a bottle was broken. Some of them should have been, or have been used against the bow of an adversary's ship! Wait till he sends a case of Oly back!

I've talked about how strong this kid was, when he was coming out..I've used the words extraordinary, incredible, freakish.. If he continues down the wake path this offseason, along with Jordan, could you imagine this trio with a whole offseason with the Kracken regimen going into next season.. Those three dudes waiting for you to break the huddle on offense...sheeeeee$... That's no joke right there son.
I'm happy to say that 2013 has made me completely wrong about Vernon and Clay. But 2013 also made me right about Daniel Thomas. As for Tannehill, I think he's the guy. Always have. I still say fire Ireland though.
Andrew Abramson @AbramsonPBP 5m Vernon was just credited with another 1/2 sack. He now has 10.5 and is tied for fifth in the NFL. He is SO good he is piling up sacks when he's not even playing, that is Chuck Norris-like talent right there.
