Just got back from that AWESOME domination. Forgot to DVR it, did you hear the cheers and chants on TV? I'd say the stadium was probably 35-40% Dolphins fans...and the 4th quarter was basically a home game. And those "White Stripes" song chants if you ever heard them were all Dolphins fans as well. Apparently the players did and made comments after. I wasn't in the DolfansNYC section, but mine had a alot of Phins fans, my entire row was as well as the row behind me, which was great. So much fun, and Jets fans weren't too bad or nasty at all (at least where I was, but even before the game during the tailgate), it was fun all around. Maybe because there were so many Dolphins fans. The Jets offense was so bad watching it live. Ours was frustrating in the first half, watching them go for so many yards and come up with 6 points...but we're used to that. At least they got it together and came back.
Hearing the phins fans in there today made me really proud. It sounded awesome to hear our fans cheering and chanting there. It was nice to see all the phins jerseys, and all the empty seats so early. Nice job to you and any other members, or fans that were there today!
When the cameras panned the crowd late in the game it looked like a home game. Definitely a more Aqua jerseys than green they were showing...
Yup! You guys were awesome. Even Marv Albert was talking about the mass amount of Dolphins fans there.
I had no volume for the game..are there any quotes from the players acknowledging they heard our fans,if so, I bet it made a difference...that's awesome, imagine that feeling as a player..of course your gonna go out and play lights out...its what a homefield advantage is all about..to bad our suits do not grasp this concept.
It was absolutely awesome how loud us fins fans were today. The dolfans nyc crew was heard loud on the opposite of the side of the stadium. But ALL fins fans that were in attendance today deserve kudos for their efforts. I had the fins fans by me in the lower bowl chanting and completely taking over our section!!
I heard ya, it was awesome! Dolphins are a national team, no doubt. Even still, after all these mediocre years!! Love it!
I should of went to the jets game, but waited too long to buy tickets. Just bought bills tickets and taking the 7 hour trip up there with my cousin whose also a phins fan.
The Jets radio broadcast mentioned it also. They said at some point in the 4th quarter that it was nothing but Dolphin fans left. Great job! I'll be in Buffalo December 22nd. Hopefully we can have a similar effort there.
Yeah I heard Jets fans commenting about how many Dolphins fans were there. So if Jets fans at Sun Life ever try to make comments about how many Jets fans are at the game, just make sure they know how many go to MetLife (where the Dolphins are now 3-1, with 2 straight blowout victories!). Everywhere you turned you saw Aqua and Orange. Walking through the tunnel to the parking lot was fun. That was the only time I heard any "fighting words". Dolphins fans were on the parking garage level above where you walk out to the outdoor parking lot and getting Phins fans to cheer and saying stuff and a Jets fan goes "Your a long way from Miami a$$holes". Don't think he realized the number of national fans. Asked Lori Rubinson to give us a shoutout on WFAN tonight! Said she heard us loud and clear and we did a great job. I'm sure plenty were calling in after the game though. Oh yeah. Grimes, Hartline, Wheeler on Twitter. Hartline pointed the football up to Dolfans NYC section after his Touchdown. Pouncey greeted some fans who surrounded the field exit.
I was putting up Christmas lights during part of the first half and just listening... Was confusing, but awesome, when I heard loud cheers and it was for a great dolphins play! Loved it. Nice job!
I heard "Lets go Dolphins" at some point in the 3rd quarter, multiple times. And then I even heard the proverbial... na na na na... hey hey hey... good bye in the 4th quarter. proud
Keep up the good work guys... The Jests fans brag about taking over our stadium I love that we are consistently doing it to them right back. d.W.o Dolfan World Order.
Listening to WFAN in NY and its a glorious day. Joe Beningo, huge jet fan,was at the game and was complaining about sooo many Dolphin fans making all that noise!! Mad props to all that attended. Wish we had that atmosphere at more home games. Telling commentary by Jet fans this morning...Said our play calling yesterday was atrocious, especially by the goal line. I could not agree more..Baffling..Sherman almost has me wishing for Henning! Single handily almost threw away a dominating first half! Seems to think that FG's are worth more than TD's...Would rather shorten a 28yrd FG with a five yard out than take a shot at the end zone. I was certain that the HORRIFIC PLAYCALLING was going to come back and haunt us...along with many other phin fans i am sure.
I think Armando did a story before. Omar Kelly was at the game and went to the tailgate, maybe he will. And oh yeah, the play calling was terrible in the first half. Also some missed throws. Regardless of the big win, they still need to play a complete game.
In Miami, Jets fans are a bunch of cocky blowhards. From their behavior, you'd think the Jets have won 8 of the last 10 Super Bowls. But in their own stadium around mostly one another, they are the sad sacks you would expect from fans of a team that hasn't been to a Super Bowl in almost 45 years. There is usually a good showing of Dolphin fans there and there's nothing better than watching the Jets fans filing out of their own stadium with 10 minutes left in the game.
http://www.miamidolphins.com/multim...eception/0bd3f0b9-5d4f-436d-bb04-1311cad054f3 Oh, another funny thing. In the 2nd half on a Dolphins 3rd down, the stadium played the Seven Nation Army song for Jets fans. Dolphins got the 1st down and Phins fans started the chant and kept it going...so MetLife Stadium inadvertenly created a chant for us. And look who made his return for maybe the first time since Buttfumble! (but not in character) http://fansided.com/2013/12/01/fireman-ed-returns-jets-dolphins-game-fireman-ed-though-photo/ He picked the PERFECT game to go to!
This is the type of movement that needs to happen at our stadium, one small group where everyone is on the same page doing things inside the stadium where it inspires more to get involved...unison..
