I've said it twice in this thread, this is a fact, and it seems to me as a sure sign of not understanding situational football, when you see a coach fu&$ up like that and you can prove it, you have a problem..

Clueless fan is clueless. First of all, it was THREE passes, and he was off target on all 3 of them, and even the long one that Wallace dropped was to Mike's WRONG shoulder forcing Wallace to pirouette on a ball 65 yards in the air and then relocate it again. If he hits just one of 'em we're in overtime. Secondly, he missed a few BIG 3rd down and 4 or less conversions in Carolina territory, and b/c of it we walked away with only 3 points. Anyone who wants to blame the defense for not holding Cam on the final drive needs to blame Tannehill for NOT CONVERTING the earlier drives that would've broken the game wide open and left the defense not having to stop Carolina's offense ONE.LAST.FRIGGIN.TIME.

Only thing that "sucks for us" is having to listen to your clueless garbage.

It stinks we have the same feeling on Tannehill, Todd. We had some heavy debates on Henne. Many of them around not scoring TD's or completing big plays.

I hope one day we'll be able to debate of its time for our franchise QB to retire after 16 years of awesome play....ah one day.

There is no agenda, you need to wake up son. No one is saying get rid of Tannehill, well some people are, but don't pay attention to those people. People are saying there are some gaping holes in Ryan's game that have to improve next year, like improve dramatically, not incremental, but dramatic. I'm willing to give him another year, and I think most people are, while allowing for the critique of his game in the meantime. Jeff Ireland on the other hand, must leave or I expect a full exodus of fins fans. If Ireland is still GM next year, the team won't and doesn't deserve but a few thousand fans coming to home games.

FYI, Luck just threw the ugliest pick 6 to Dansby I ever saw.

    He needs benched!

Was 17 watching the attempted catch from the turf? where he got dinged up up because of pressure? Of course the throw could have been better could even have been perfect , personally I don't think he should be expected to be perfect. He played more than well enough against a great defensive team to win this game imo .

then we can play the players for dropping passes on thirst down. we can blame players for not blocking for the QB. we can blame the players for not getting more than 1-2 yards per carry. we can blame the OC for calling poor plays to give our offense a chance to succeed. we can blame the DC for not adjusting in the seond half.

    see what I did there??

exactly, there is more than just putting all the blame on Tannehill, especially in a game where he actually played well.
Made good passes...ran for first downs, made adjustments at the line and was overall pretty efficient.

but of course, idiotic fans will wonder why he didn't hit on the long balls with perfect throws as hes running away from a collapsed pocket.
    give me a break.

He was averaging 4.5 yards a carry before the game.

WhiteIbanez is clueless. Miller must have smashed his GF or something.

This is what I will say...this is parity in the NFL. This is a team that is caught in a glut with a bunch of other teams. We win some of these and we lose some of these. That's just the way of the modern NFL.

This team, with its youthful age, has a better chance of becoming a team that can win more these in the future than we lose. Patience is required.

I'm not denying he needs work, after all he is in his second year. But he has NO Oline, an overrated number 1 WR who is not worth a fraction of what he is paid, a joke for an OC and a defense who continually chokes with the game on the line.

It's not realistic to expect much, and he is showing he has the skills to be a great QB, with some help.

Andrew Luck just threw a pick 6, you never see Tannehill make idiotic throws like that. But these geniuses saying he sucks, or start Moore are idiots, plain and simple.

When the time came to run out the clock Miller took a dump on us.
We missed DT there at that crucial time. I never see Miller make anyone miss. He is a dancer. Made me think of John Avery today.

that number is only impressive when you carry the ball 250+ times. it really loses its meaning when you run it less than ten times a gane

4.5 yards per carry. Not much lower after today. When it comes to Lamar Miller I will trust a blind mans opinion over yours.

But yet it never matters when he can't make a crucial play. Miller is mediocre. Your fooling yourself if you think otherwise.
Sure he catches the wheel route but lost big yardage when needed. He can easily be replaced with a real running back.

    True.

But the problem was we put ourselves that position. That's on the team as a whole.

Sure does. Tannehill really crapped the bed today in key moments, which unfortunately overshadows the rest of his game which was pretty good. Roethlisberger would've had 400 yards and 3+ TDs today and the game would've been blown wide open, leaving our front 4 an opportunity to just tee off on Cam the rest of the way.

What ticks me off and gives me hope at the same time, and keeps me from wanting to blow it all up despite all my anger and disappointment, is that none of these games are blowouts. This tells me that if everyone does just a little better, and we can decrease all the physical and mental mistakes, we will be a good team. The core is there and we can fill it this offseason. I know how much you guys can't stand Ireland, Sherman, Coyle, Philbin and even Ross, but all we have to do is a little better.

Are you implying that Colts fans don't point out some of the remaining flaws in Luck's game? Yes he is a great young QB but there are things even Colts fans understand he can get better at. He's on his way to become an Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees type but he is NOT there yet. Besides, what do LUCK's inefficiencies have to do with Tannehill? Because Luck has some clunkers, does that mean Tannehill gets a pass? I don't really get the point of mentioning Luck. I can say Nick Foles is a 2nd year QB with a bad Offensive line and has 0 INT, but i won't cause I'm only concerned about Tannehill, not other QBs. Tannehill has good potential but does need to give the fan base optimism these remaining games, to give us confidence moving forward. Don't throw up Yards, all QB's now throw for a bunch of yards, I want to see Points, TDs and cutting back on the mistakes, that's all I want from him, Red Zone efficiency, a better percentage in the 10-20 yard rage and less turnovers.

Our 1 shot dwn the field should not take place with 10 secs left in the game...not gonna blame Wallace or Tanny for that play....Too late to show any urgency to put up a single point in the half!

agree to disagree. He racked up a ton of yards but failed to produce today in the clutch when we needed it the most, and it had nothing to do with Carolina's defense.

This loss was on Tannehill, the online not opening any running lanes and the defense for folding once again when it mattered most. There is enough blame to go around. Whatever facet of the team you are blaming this loss on, you're probably justified in doing so. This team just knows how to lose. That's their identity. It sucks but that's what it is. And why do people on here put other posters on ignore? There are plenty of people on this site that I don't agree with but I don't put them on ignore. What fun is that? People are gonna have different opinions. Be adults. Dont pick up your toys and go home.

I mean, ignore facts. That's your choice. But he's a good back. You telling me otherwise isn't going to change my mind when it's clear as day his numbers don't prove he's bad. This season or last.
