    Remember when we said Tannehill was better than Henne?
    Remember when we said Philbin was better than Sparano?
    Remember when we said Sherman was better than Henning?
    Remember when we said getting character guys mattered?

    Anything Ireland touches is toxic. Hopefully this is what has everyone fired.

    Tanne > Henne
    Philbin > Sparano
    Sherman = Henning
    Talent > Character

    I don't know what you're getting at.

    Do I think Tannehill is better than Henne? Yes. But it's marginal. Why do we look at it like it's such a great difference? Because Tannehill currently has more TD's than Henne? We win in spite of our offense, led by him.

    If you think Philbin is better than Sparano, you're crazy. They both are terrible, but Philbin is brutal.

    Go ahead.

    They'll both be leaders of terrible offenses and underachieving teams. It's not like their numbers are so extravagantly different.

    We win in spite of our offensive line... don't get it twisted. We have players that shouldn't be on a roster currently starting. Our running backs got 16 yards on 13 carries today.

    Chad Henne is NOT better than Tannehill, I know you are being hyperbolic to try to emphasize a point but you are being too over the top. here is Chad Henne's numbers: .........................................................JAX 173 283 61.1 1,885 6.66 62 4 9 21 72.2 here is Tannehills: MIA 224 366 61.2 2,474 6.76 67 14 11 41 81.5 ....................Henne is not playing better than Tannehill. You want to say Jake Locker and Mike Glennon are having better years, you have an argument there but don't bring up Henne. In fact the better comparison would be Roethlisberger because his Offensive Line is WORST than the Dolphins and he here are his numbers: PIT 247 383 64.5 2,901 7.57 55 17 10 36 91.3

    If it came down to picking Tannehill or Henne, I would take Tannehill.

    That doesn't mean I think Tannehill is a quality NFL QB. It only means I think he is better than Henne. I don't see Tannehill ever being more than a mediocre NFL QB. He will probably play for 5-10 years and his winning record as an NFL QB will be around 500. He just hasn't shown that he is capable of being the type of QB who can consistently lead his team to victory when the game is on the line. That is what the top tier QB's do on a consistent basis.

    All you have to do in look at the fact the Dolphins have not scored a single TD in the fourth quarter of their last six games to conclude that Tannehill is still a long way from being a good NFL QB.

    Right now there are probably 20 or more starting NFL QB's I would take over Tannehill, but Henne isn't one of them.
