Cam Newton only scored 20 points. Sure he won the game, but got lucky with that personal foul call at the end of the game. Clearly he isn't the future for Carolina.

Game was lost by not scoring in the 2nd half. Realistically that falls on Sherman but also our complete inability to run the ball and have a balanced offense. This team doesn't have the talent to be so one dimensional.

The skill players on this team really have no escapability...Thomas..no...miller...no...Clay..not really..Wallace...no..Hartline...no...Matthews..he has some..

We really have no one that can do something with a ball on a short pass.

Silver Lining? Jets and Pats both lost which means we are miraculously not far behind. Still mediocre, but not quite dead yet.

Our torture is prolonged for at least a week or two.

well, you know… he is right… Tannehill should have thrown that ball away and reset… not saying anything better would have happened the next play but… at least they would have gotten another play

It also falls on the GM for saddling the team with poor running backs and oline....miller is a backup.

I can question it, it was a terrible pass. Just because you have a big contract doesn't mean you are going to bail out your Qb on terrible throws. He made Wallace, stop, turn around and try to catch a poorly thrown, underthrown ball when all he had to do was hit him in stride and we win. You should be able to hit a WR that is 3 yards wide open easily. That play was 100% on Tannehill. 100%. I've been defending Tannehill for 2 years so this isn't blind hate. I've also been trashing Wallace, but this game is not in any, way shape or form on him. He owned the Panthers secondary. With a Qb that can hit the deep pass Wallace would have probably broken every single game receiving record that we have.

    Blame Tannehill? Really?

Don't blame the defense that got shredded in the 2nd half? Kevin Coyle is a ****ing fool.

Tannehill was good, he is being sabotaged by probably the worst coaching staff in the league. Seriously, they are all fools.

Mike Sherman is seriously an idiot. I have no clue what he was trying to accomplish in the 2nd half.

    Fire everyone.

Tannehill deserves to be taking as much heat as Wallace has been. Neither one of them is playing at a high level. Tannehill misses too many wide open receivers while Wallace drops too many catchable balls. The biggest problem with this team is the coaching staff. Philbin and his entire staff, especially Sherman, need to be gone in December. Maybe with a real QB coach and competent offensive coordinator Tannehill and Wallace will play up to their potential.

This is why I've been impressed with Tannehill. The guy's had zero running game and a **** O-Line all year and has kept every game competitive.

It's gotta be tough for any QB when opposing D's KNOW you have to run, especially a second year QB.

Not as much as the agenda driven trolls think.

Defense gave up 2 HUGE scoring drives, couldn't get off the field. Kicker misses a FG. Wallace lets 2 catchable balls go through his hands. I could go on.

Sherman has no accountability..none..Philbin will say what a great job he did. That defense before the half bordered on comical. Way to think things into the ground. Both Sherman and Coyle are too smart for their own good. I have always alwaysbalways put the onus on players instead of coaches. Today the coaches crapper the bed. Sherman was content to throw 2 yd passes...2 yards!!!!so frustrating...so scared..Lao pathetic...ao damn pathetic!

I agree... I mean I'm sure Sherman and Tannehill wish they could get 4-5 yards on a run once in a while. Hard to judge them too much with the crap talent.

I have to laugh when i read the end of this thread...

In this corner, the Ryan Tannehill apologist who think he cant do any wronge (never mind that his poorly placed passes to Wallace left a ton of points on the field).

In the other corner… you have the blame Wallace for everything crowd… hit him in the hands (never mind that he had to twist his body all the way around…)

and in that corner… Sherman is a moron

and in the other… Ireland ….

    sweet baby jesus...

4 points left on the field, 4. It was still a 50+ yard gain.

Blaming Tannehill for this loss is ****ing idiotic.
