BS reversal at the end of the half on the roughing penalty. Cam Newton slips and we get tagged 15 yards. I'm sick of the constant calls that go against us. Both of those plays turned the game.
Dude we need to be in a position where 2 calls don't turn our game on us. This team is just not good enough. Time to stop blaming everyone but the real reason this team doesn't have enough talent.
It was the difference from 20-3...but there is no excuse for such an awful 2nd half performance by the Offense. Or for the defense breaking down to end both the 1st half and 2nd half.
We had a questionable incompletion get overturned our way we just didn't capitalize on the second chance. This isn't on the refs. Its on the offense not capitalizing on golden opportunities.
at this point defenders have to know not to even touch the qb when he gets near the sideline. bad call but they never miss that call. thats on jones.
We won a challenge we shoudn't have won, giving us a first down. What did we do? Oh right, nothing. However, I think Newton has to get fined for acting or this stuff will get out of hand quickly.
We also got a gift on that Charles Clay review that shouldn't have been a completion. Blaming the refs for this game is ridiculous. We had three offensive drives with 10 minutes left or less, where a touchdown would have put the game away and they collectively mustered one first down (which wasn't really a first down.) We lost this game because we scored zero points in second half.
Yeah, we got some bad calls but they didn't show up for the second half. Hell, they took the last minute of the first half off to gift them 3 easy points. Then Dewey misses another FG. They handed that game over.
Calls always go both ways usually.... first play of the game you probably broke some teeth of Cam's and had him spitting blood (it took a half before he looked normal), you got a big 3rd down catch that they reviewed (he dropped it when he fell), etc.
The officials jobbed us on the Kuechly call (who appears immune to penalty in the end zone) but we should not have been in the position to make any call effect us. It's a game we had and pissed away because of atrocious coaching.
Not blaming the refs. Our offense, particularly the coaching and play calling, gave us nothing in the 2nd half. You don't score in the second half of a game and you aren't going to win. I honestly dont know how many more games I can watch this year, I usually never get angry but I found myself steaming today. Not good, this team is just so damn frustrating to watch.
Can't blame the officiating, the Dolphins had several calls go their way. Also Cam did not flop on that play, he legitimately slipped but it looked like Jones pushed him. When I saw the replay, Jones only had his hands on Newton's shoulder. We have to remember that the officials see it in real time and they can't review those calls.
Fined? For what? For slipping on that surface everyone bust their rear ends on? Newton doesn't take dives....he isn't RGIII. Did you see him fake when Wake busted his mouth open? Cam has never looked for a flag outside the pocket.... It is understandable why the flag was thrown. Refs are human. Two guys are on him when he hits that flooring. Looked bad. It isn't like didn't pick up the first on his own to begin with
Well, that is kinda the point. Everytime we get in dogfight with a good team, refs are the turning point. It can effect good teams too, see last week's Pats' game.
Lloyd we should all realize that point, but the real reason this team is what it is, sits in an ivory tower in Davie and seems to be impervious to being fired. The true "Teflon Man".
Brother... If I didn't know any better...I would think I wrote this. Iam about as mad as I can remember with this team and coaching staff. How you can be that conservative and scared speaks volumes
Our performances in the 2nd half frustrate me to the point where I honestly don't even think I can watch the games anymore. When we were going into half time, I honestly thought to myself "we are going to go conservative, not be able to run the ball and lose". Its a broken record at this point and I just get frustrated to the point where I am never at as a fan. I am not a knee jerk "fire them all" fan or a guy that wants to bench the Qb for throwing a pick but at this point I don't think I can watch this same team/coaching staff again next year. How we can do the SAME ****ING THING every half and lose games is just mind blowing to me. Being outcoached in the 2nd half is a clear cut sign of a poor coaching staff.
Yeah, not scoring anything in the second half is inexcusable. I have a feeling everybody's coming back next year too. Even Ireland.
Probably both. However, as bad as some of the calls were today, especially the Keuchly one which was complete BS to pick up that flag... the officials didn't cost us this game. We did, we beat ourselves again, by failing to execute on offense, putting our defense in tough positions because the offense fails to execute, and with poor coaching and playcalling.
Terrible call but we got a "make up" call on the Clay reception. No way was that a catch, he didn't maintain possession. Simple fact is yet again we got our asses kicked in the 2nd half, the same thing that has happened for the past 8 games now. When the Panthers drove down the field to start the 2nd half I was thinking "here we go again."
Yeah, officials sucked, but how about scoring a point in the second half? How about stopping a 4th and 10 on that last drive? How about getting even an average run game here?
Please God no, we need a change. I can't take any more of this good enough not to get blown out, poor enough to shoot yourself in the foot.
Cam slipped out of bounds. Also got screwed on the non call against Keuchly. Don't care what anyone says, Clay caught that ball. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
How about getting an OL. Did you see how many times the running back got hit in the backfield? Just how bad are Danny Watkins and Dallas Thomas that unsigned FA (and pick-ups from practice squads) are getting on the field before them.
Anyone watching Dallas vs. NY? These calls are outrageous. Romo got half arm tackled and get a flag. We need to do something. Stage a revolt. The game is getting ridiculous. I hope that defensive players get fed up enough to walk out of a game. The NFL is becoming ****.
I truly want to be optimistic when these second halves start.Every single one of them. But I know what is coming. Try not to lose...No adjustements...Other team scores quickly....We panic....Get conservative....Lose late...One single TD in that half wins that game. Looked like we were not even trying. This one really set me off. There have been bigger losses than this one. This one hurt.
Didn't even need to see the game today, hearing it play out like a broken record, I knew all too well what it looked like. The same as it looked last week, when we won, the week before that when we lost, the week before that, and virtually all season. I've been convinced for months now, this is endemic of an offensive coordinator, hell bent on some internalized, unorthodox method of calling plays, based on situations that without fail, inevitably leaves the game teetering on a thread each week, and ultimately determined by nothing more than the officials, one game breaking play/misplay, or sheer fate. I see Sherman as Philbins rookie mistake, and indirectly connected to countless setbacks this year, including the Incog/Martin crisis. The odds of Ireland or Philbin being let go, are speculative pipe dreams. An OC? Now that seems to me a far more reasonable expenditure for a fanbase to demand, and potentially compel this owner to appease.
