Which rounds do we take Oline men from?

First, Second, and Third? Do we trade some picks to pick up some from other teams? Once we get an Oline then we will be set.

Most likely Ireland is finished as GM, who will take his job? If someone else comes in as GM, does that mean Philbin is gone? I don't mind seeing him stay, but our OC and DC has to go.

I think Miller as HB is fine, not his fault he is being set back by our line.

We take ones in the rounds the good players are in? It's about finding a good player at the right time, not filling needs with the pick you think corresponds with the severity of the needs.

1st for a left or right tackle, though I'd like to see them bring one of the two in via FA. Going to need a right guard as well. Question is, do you resign John Jerry for depth? He's been pretty horrible since he's been drafted but he can play tackle in a pinch.

Well I heard that Oline in this draft is very deep, might as well take the good ones in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds. John Jerry, what a huge bust he turned out to be.

Every single round. If there's a great OLB or DT available, then that's an exception. But you gotta take every good OL prospect you can find.

You get a LT in the first, guards can come later.

1 2 and 3... yes, dead serious. I'd pick BPA T/G, each time.

Free Agency. begin the rebuild with proven NFL performers.

Then we obviously need to invest a high pick on a LT.

Depends where we pick in the first round.. if we have a Top 10 pick and Sammy Watkins is still there, you don't pass that up.

Do we want a bunch of rookies on the oline? Not I. Gotta get some veteran talent.

Need to save some picks for LBs that can tackle.

And corners that can get nolan carroll off this damn roster. Also another wr wouldn't hurt. We need a red zone target.

For a 3rd cornerback who has to start due to injury, Carroll is having a pretty good season. He isn't part of the problem.

Hopefully the next GM will have better luck in signing quality free agent offensive linemen than Ireland has had. Incognito is the only decent offensive lineman Ireland has signed in free agency and Long and Pouncey are the only quality offensive linemen Ireland has drafted.

Considering how much money has been spent over the past six years on the offensive line, this is the one unit that Ireland has done an absolute terrible job of rebuilding.

To me, we need a LG in the worst way.

I'd slide Garner to RG, and we need 2 Tackles unless they want to risk it on McKinnie.

RT/RG/LG/LT all need new answers, so much so I'd think about moving Pouncey to LG as Centers can be found in FA or later in the draft.

Smiley and Grove were playing like probowlers before their injuries.

I thought they were okay, but I never saw them as pro bowl level players with the Dolphins. Just a difference of opinion on these two players by you and me, but I certainly respect your opinion.

I have no idea why you thought they were just OK. Both were dominate. If Tannehill had these two linemen, Miami would be a playoff team. Until they got hurt.

I believe you can find those at Aldi ... though you may need to pay a quarter to use them.

I liked Smiley more than Grove. They were both decent offensive linemen for the Dolphins and obviously better than everyone on the OL, except Pouncey right now. I just don't think they were playing at a pro bowl level while with the Dolphins. You do, so let's just agree to disagree.

I think we both can agree if Clabo were playing at either of their levels, Miami would be a much better team.

I stated that they were better than any of the offensive linemen on the team right now except Pouncey. Clabo and the rest of the starting offensive linemen, except Pouncey, all need to be replaced next year.

The only difference of opinion you and I have on this issue is in regards to whether or not Smiley and Grove were pro bowl caliber linemen when they were with the Dolphins. It not whether they were better than the statues we now have on this offensive line. Because that isn't even up for debate.

I'm pretty sure Dawn Aponte would be happy with that contract. She might even wave the offset language... MAYBE.

IF it is up to Aponte, she will have her staff steal the carts from Publix and avoid the $1.25 it would cost to use five carts from Aldi's. She's always looking for ways to save a buck.

There's dozens of potential answers for this and we're really far away from answering them.

What's the blocking scheme going forward? What's on the roster? What do you do in free agency? What's the draft look like?

I think we need more then just olinemen.

I think drafting a defensive end and a lock down corner and a linebacker would be good and use f/a to fill the oline .

The Bears just had to replace like 4 OL, so I would start by looking at them - did they succeed, fail. What did they do right vs wrong.

We need at least three, and maybe four new starting OL for 2014. That means the team needs to use every avenue to find them, wherever they are available. I think its likely a mix of veterans and rookies, but not a "blockbuster" free agent signing. Depending on where our first rounder is, I could see the team trying to trade up to get one of the two really good LT prospects. At this point, I couldnt complain if half the draft were OL.

On that note though, Dallas Thomas must be a total bust to not see ANY action despite how terrible this starting line has been.....

Jeff Ireland couldn't build an offensive line with 100 draft picks in next years draft. He needs to go, then we have a shot at building the line. We do need a few vets on the line.
