It is actually very hard to do the things the Dolphins are doing. It is almost impossible to get only 2 yards rushing and so many sacks at the end of the game and an INT - You write a script for a movie and it would be turned down as being not realistic enough.

Of course not. Coyles running the same bs double A gap blitz scheme that never does squat because we never mix up blitzes. Coyle is running a hybrid D with personal clearly suited to a 3-4. Its like driving a car that requires 87 and giving it diesel. Its just dumb and it doesnt work unless you mix it up like Baltimore does/did

I can see that Sherman is a serious problem, and Coyle's D is designed to stop the pass, not the run, offensive line needs to be blown up, that is very clear.

What is worse, Sherman does not seem to grasp his OL cannot run block, it's like he believes they can, they actually can't, he should adjust, but doesn't.

IDK, I think there are pieces there… I have never been on the Fireland bus but I think he needs to go at the end of the season. This is the 2nd year in a row the team has gone into the season with a glaring weakness that has cost them the season (WR's last year).

 

Thigpen offers nothing in the return game

 

At the third preseason game it was obvious that we could not be competitive with this offensive line. Ireland and Philbin did nothing. They need to lose their jobs.

 

What a disaster.

Jeff Ireland is officially a goner. His lack of foresight to fix the OL, after years of wasting draft picks, his inability to draft serviceable RB's while letting a top tier RB walk, and his rash decision to go all on in a WR that doesn't even deserve to start at this point should do him in.

 

I feel like a moron ever defending the guy. He's trash that can't block, can't fight for the ball to save his life, can't catch anything under any duress and pretty much has a trash attitude.

 

Tannehill is inconsistant. NE would have put up about 40 points in this game.

Dolphins football gentlemen. Ireland doesn't put an offensive line together in the offseason and we lose multiple one possession games because of it. He swaps out the linebackers and we can't stop the run.

Coyle can't keep his D consistent, Sherman can't call a full game.

Why wouldn't it be us to give them their first win?

Seriously, I think Philbin has potential, but when the locker room issues happened on your watch, you cant leave him as the HC, and expect to attract players to come to miami and buy in... you just cant. It's over. If he could have made a playoff run, then maybe... but its over. Blow it all up and start over.

 

Very disappointing season for Wallace, regardless of what happens the rest of the year with him. I would have much rather had another receiver from the Steelers: Antonio Brown.

A wise head coach would've realized it's better to possibly live to play another series after regrouping on the sideline than to call timeout on 3rd & forever. Plus we have a better punter who would've probably left us with better field position in the transition.
