I swear I think they are trying to force tanny to stray away from running. Second half of last year he was running all over the place. Its almost like he is refusing to, even when he needs to now

 

Yup, while I admire he wants to make the big play... he's got to learn, sometimes a few yards on the ground is just as good, if not better than taking the chance. It's alot of why we've seen him sacked so much this year too.

 

Trying to get too freaking cute with the play calling.

I blame the coaching staff for his unwilling attitude at using his running ability. I do think that he needs to make the decision to add that to his game personally.

At least I started Matthews in fantasy on a hunch tonight.

 

Defense, Bucs foot-sniping and special teams. Offense is just sort of there for us. Missed opportunities. Left at least 3 more points on the field.

Seriously? you think its a well called drive, after an interception to run a sweep, then a pass play where almost nobody was in the endzone that had a realistic chance of being open because of a poor designed play, followed by a TE screen? All after a turnover, where if you get 7 there, you're comfortably ahead against Tampa?

Come on... its not complaining, its common sense. That was piss poor playcalling. You got the turnover, go for the kill. Piss poor playcalling, especially compared to our last redzone appearance with that beautiful call to Matthews.

I am absolutely stunned. I didnt think the team I saw in the first quarter had this in them. Kudos.
But this team still needs to be better prepared than what they were tonight.
