Here's an offer if you want it: I can answer questions regarding Black Flag by tomorrow (my time). So if you've got anything you want to know, feel free to ask and I hopefully should be able to indulge you.
I could listen to this shanty for hours.
Well, this is some BS. After promising a PC release on the same day as the consoles--again--Ubisoft has delayed the PC version--again--to November 19. At least I have time to hit 100% in Arkham Origins, finish up Ys: The Oath in Felghana, and hit rank 30 or so in BF4.
I'm confused: It's been clear for months that the PC version would be delayed again. Didn't the US media guys report that fact?
Weird. I think we had the game listed as a mid November release for several months now. By the way, I'm loving it. Not sure where some of the more negative reviews are coming from; it's easily the best AC game since AC2.
What a game! It's amazing how video games can get me sort of emotional. As for the soundtrack, I can listen to Anne Bonny sing "The Parting Glass" all day. I want to post the video but it has spoliers in it so I'll refrain from doing that.
I had a lot of amazon credits so I ordered the game and got it in a few days ago. I'll upgrade to the PS4 version using the promo code when I get the chance. Anyway so far I am loving it, the game opens up very quickly, you get the Jackdaw within the first couple of hours of gameplay. Now it took me longer because I got distracted running around Havana for a while. And Edward for the most part, is an A-hole, the game makes that pretty clear from the get go.
I was let down by ac3, so I'm happy to hear this is good so far by some of you. Especially with the AC3 time period, had mega expectations. Question in all seriousness, are there a lot of sharks in the game. I have a morbid fear of sharks, even pictures...even video games. And please don't hijack and post pics of sharks to bust my balls, I will both report and block without a second thought.
I assassinated George Washington in the game....loved AC3 based on the timelines. Sharks, I get, but really, even just pictures and animated ones too (cartoonish ones too)? Kinda strange...but to each their own.
I've seen only a couple of sharks in the promo materials. One segment where you spear-fish a shark, another underwater segment where there's a shark swimming around an area you need to get through. That's not reflective of the final shark count but I'd imagine they aren't exactly growing legs and chasing you on land. And yes, you can be attacked and killed by sharks.
Even pixilated nonsense. It's a psychological thing. My family taking me to see one of the jaws as my first movie ever didn't help. I...have my reasons...
The whales are much harder to "fight" when you go harpooning, much harder. **** you Free Willy. **** you PETA.
Yup, there are sharks. A couple in some cut scenes and a ton if you do the diving missions. Also, I hope you aren't afraid of Moray Eels because they made me jump a few times.
I cleared out Havana and went on with the story, only to realize I forgot to do the assassin missions. I'm now at Nassau raiding everything in sight and fighting crocodiles like a real man.
I'm pretty much done with Havana is well. One random fragment I can't access, it's in that fort. Can't find entrance in it o_0. But i see the chest from an outside window. I figured I will be able to access it later in the story. Will knock it out and go to sleep I guess.
Nope, you can get it right now. Go to the left side of the fort and you can start jumping across exposed beams and crawl along the wall to get from rampart to rampart. Everything is immediately accessible.
This. Brotherhood was my favorite one. There is SOOO MUCH **** to do, my video game OCD is going off the charts
I don't think the fort in Nassau is accessible yet, at least I cant find the entrance, I am in the beginning of sequence 4.
I can get in just fine. It's accessible from both the right and the left sides. Hop along the cliffs until you reach a scalable wall at the end of the cliff path. "OK, I'm going to go fight these 3 ships now. It's going to take a while. Oh look, I've taken down 1 of them and I see this loot floating in the water, better grab it! OK I took down the second, now I see a recruitable crewmember floating on wreckage, let me save him!"
