The Media keeps finding new ways to spin this thing. reaching out to anyone remotely involved (Sage Rosenfield)? Really? Guy spent 2 weeks here 5 yrs ago. They are combing the bars, golf clubs for anyone with a story to share and then as long as they use the word "Reportedly" as they start the story it makes it legit. I'm getting Fing sick of it , I just hope we KILL the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday night. That will shut some people up. Its taken all the heat off the Jets and practically any other teams. I'm not even going to watch the pre Monday night game shows I usually Love. Just sick sick sick of it all. I'm telling you........changing that Logo was a Bad Idea. Everyone thought I was nuts.

Sadly this whole thing isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Once the Dolphins are eliminated from the playoffs or playoff contention maybe it will go away, maybe not. Its gotten sickening to be a fan of this team right now, I've never been so disillusioned as a fan. I watch football to watch football not to watch a soap opera that isn't anywhere near as big a deal as its being made into. Martin could have just walked away like a man but instead we get this?
If anything, I think this whole ordeal would spike ratings for the morbidly curious who will tune in to see if anything crazy would happen.
There's an easy solution. Since this overblown soap opera started: I don't watch ESPN, I don't watch NFL network, only listen to NFL radio rarely. I don't go to any of the main NFL sites. I come here, and that's it. no more stress.
That is my point. Espn had a bomb of a game on their hands with us at 4-4 vs an 0-8 Bucs team when this story broke. They have run this story into the ground and put so much spin on this situation to make it look so much worse than it was, and now our game is a must see. EDIT:I am not saying it will be completely over, but you will hear about it on radio and tv a lot less.
That was their motive the whole time. How else you gonna get a national audience to watch 0-8 Tampa vs 4-4 Miami?
At the rate comments have been offered and how this has hit the mainstream media, no, you won't hear less about it. Did we hear less about Bountygate? This is bigger than that.

This thing has taken on a life of its on, as anyone and everybody seems to have a comment, an observation, an opinion or just their two-cents. Even if the Dolphins beat the Bucs most comments will be about the Dolphins winning in spite of the Martin-Incognito situation.
if they win decisively, it will show a national audience that team has serious character, an excellent locker room, that they can overcome the adversity of unjust humiliation & the handicap of an offensive line in total disarray. all this would bode well for both players & coaching cadre.
That's why you don't draft Martin. Good GM's knew this, but not Jeffy ! Bill Polin & Scott Pioli both said this week they had "do not draft" tags on Martin. Someone else (name escapes) me said he had a 6th round tag on him, all because of the interviews they had with him.

I agree people are going to have to get in their minds that unless we go undefeated here on out this story isn't dying because there is more that we don't know about . the dolphins are the most disliked team in the league and unfortunately we don't have any friends ( former players) working for ESPN . Boomer Essiason spp ? just now predicted Tampa bay to win. guys I just wish that we could as nfl fans be able to turn on nfl news and hear something positive , unfortunately the B.S. that Miami is envolved in nbeeds to be cleaned up. we need a new image and to start winning games and stop with the circus that Ross has brought to the team.
