This is a great time for Ryan Tannehill to become the leader we desperately need

And here's the thing, most football guys think Joe Philbin is an honest guy.

And Ryan Tannehill, I believe, looks, sounds, and acts like an All-American guy, honest and refreshing. For him to say what he's said, I think comes across well to any audience and puts a new spin on a lot of the rhetoric that's been floating around out there.

Was impressed by Tannehill's candor, composure and character in his presser.

    He is growing.

Absolutely loved what I heard from Tannehill today. He was on fire. Taking a huge step into making this his team. Really, all the players were great today. Spoke volumes to what they think really happened.

Give Tannehill time. This is only his 7th year in the same system. He should have it down by year 10.

Wow. I loved Tannenhill's press conference.

One line that REALLY stood out to me was

"Forgive and forget. I don't crucify or judge people for their past."

Do you know how mature one needs to be to say that? I know 35 year olds who can't even say that statement. Thats one of the most mature statements I have ever heard from Tannenhill.

What games are you referring to?
When ahead Tannehill has 84.3 QB rating, when behind 78.1 QB rating.
In the 4th Quarter within 7 points he has a 76.8 QB rating and that isn't factoring in the fumbles.
1st half = 87.6 QB rating, 2nd half = 74.7 QB rating, last two minutes of half = 71.6 QB rating
    1st Quarter = 71.1 QB rating, 2nd Quarter = 98.3, 3rd Quarter = 86.7, 4th Quarter = 65.1, OT = 79.9

I don't why I am still shocked when a fan base falls in love with a player and that player plays poorly on the field that fan base is like an ostrich by burying their head in the sand.

The ball and chain imo is b/c Tannehill does not throw the deep ball very well. When he has been turned loose he turned into a turnover magnet. He is like Chad Pennington without the accuracy or leadership up till now. More accurately, he has pretty much been a carbon copy of Chad Henne.

He may be okay against Tampa Bay whom QBs have a 94.2 QB rating cumulatively, but highly unlikely this fiasco provides the soil for Tannehill to grow into a leader.

Glad the #1 Tannehill heckler is back with his fanspeak and unwarranted assumptions.

tl; dr. You get on the field behind that o line and put up better stats, then. There is a huge reason youre in the minority with your negative feelings toward tannehill.
