    I, of course, like the more Hendrix-y parts than those annoying Malmsteen shreds, but talented just the same.

    Look him up, he played many different styles, and I don't know what you heard but his shred style is nothing like Malmsteen's. And if like the "Hendrix-y" stuff...

    Honestly, I just pulled a shredder name out of the hat in the first place. I can't tell the difference between some of them sometimes, as a product of not listening to a whole lot of it. Just not my cup o' tea.
