I always liked Mommabilly's posts. Hope he knows that hes still welcome to post here as all info continues to get published (even if the evidence seems to be damning against his son).
He had his uses, but generally he was not a good poster. I think on the balance, some of the stuff he's said so far after this broke should be enough to sour goodwill towards him.
Seems like some folks feel threatened by having someone with inside info raining on their parade. I agree with you. It was kind of like with DirtyCashHolding, some were glad he was gone, but I always enjoyed reading his posts.

The only thing I will say on the matter is we would never share your date of birth, posting location, etc. When the other site did that, it appears they violated their own privacy policy.

Should you not coddle kids with serious issues? Should you not offer them support and do your best for them? Regardless of that statement, you cannot judge any part of Martins mental state as we have zero facts to deal with. Calling him crazy is unfair and tasteless.
Wow, we haven't had detective work like this since I figured out Phinsational was Toddphins. I'll also go on the record and say I didn't think mommabilly was a bad poster. I'm glad mods are treating him with as much respect as they can. His thoughts on the inner workings of this team, the FO and it's coaches have to be considered in a whole new light now that we know they are formed at least in part from Ritchie Jr.'s inside take on things.
Yeah, only speaking for myself but I do not consider someone who we now know had a very legitimate inside source to be a distraction. I hope he comes back and I hope members here treat him with some respect. Yes he may have said some questionable things but let's remember this is a father defending his son and also a father who comes from a very different generation than many of us.

So please tell me that this is not a distraction from the team and the players trying to get to the Playoffs? It is. He's part of the problem regarding bad press. Plus his language belongs in the sewer. Im more bothered about the players who we root for every week than some poster that happens to be the Father of a disgraced Dolphin player. I don't know how old you've got to be to think that what he said was acceptable, but it's at least three times the age of the poster in question. If he wasn't banned on Finheaven for what he posted, it's pretty pathetic.

Interesting... about Karlos Dansby being allowed to leave for more reasons than the money, and insinuating it was a lockerroom reason. Which we figured. And is still just Richie's Dad's opinion.

Barry, I remember a lot of these comments that you're bringing back to mind. Thinking back on some of these, I can remember thinking to myself, "Y'know, there are quite a few people on this site that know a lot about the inner workings of the Dolphins. Then, there's also a lot of people that know a lot more about the Dolphins team/history/statistics/offenses/defenses/techniques/strategies/etc. than me." For the record, I'm just some Joe Schmoe living in Huntsville, AL that's been a lifelong Dolphins fan. Am I in the right place?
