Unfortunately, that's not the case any more per Barry Jackson and Fox.

There was too much smoke that Fisher was hired and Manning was signed and Flynn was picked up and McCoy too.

I doubt Martin and ritchie survive it, but that by no means proves a single thing happened.

At this point, there's not actually been a whole lot of smoke, merely rumors fo smoke form exceedingly vague sources.

I honestly don't know what to believe anymore. Everyone involved has an agenda.

I was considering buying an Incognito jersey. Now, I am glad I didn't. If I do buy another one, and jerseys really ain't my thing, I guess I'll get a #95 Jordan. Since he is a Duck and all.

Since we seem a bit shorthanded, I think they should sign me as an offensive lineman. I'm 41 years old, 5'10, and a relatively muscular 220 pounds. I know that's nowhere near being an ideal nfl lineman's size, I know I would get run over 50 times per game, but on the bright side I'd be rich, our offensive line wouldn't be a lot worse than it has been, and Tannehill could develop his mobility skills.

Again I am just giving an opinion. No sources or inside information. One of the 2 things I was alluding to came out this morning about the racial side of this. The 2nd I believe will not follow too far behind and will bring even bigger attention and agendas. Just my opinion

It's a tough environment. But, I'd take the hazing for the kind of money Martin is making, quite honestly. $1.9 signing bonus and $5 M over four years. I think most people would take a lot more for that kind of money.

Has Martin blasted anyone or made any accusations? At his point, all I can tell thats happened is he left the team and checked into a hospital. IMO, he has some fundamental mental health issues

So let's say Martin approached Philbin in the spring, as has been alleged. What if during that conversation, Martin tells coach he has depression.

Should Philbin announce that to the team and media? No, of course not and he'd be blasted if he did.

Now let's say, after the meeting, Martin starts getting more involved as a vet, and starts participating in the pranks. Philbin pulls him aside a few times to check on him and is told everything is ok.

In that scenario, Is Philbin negligent? No.
Is that scenario completely off the wall? No, not even close.

I agree with this, and I believe this is why Philbin requested the investigation from the NFL.

See that's the thing, i'm not saying that's what happened. Its just that its as plausible, if not more than the narrative being pushed and it still completely fits with the events.

If we lose Martin...who cares. If we lose Cogs....disappointing, but we'll get by. If this crap pulls Pouncey further into the mud and somehow he gets suspended because Cogs (or his family) shine the "drug light" on Pouncey, then I'm gonna lose it.

From our (admittedly brief) conversations about it, he has stressed the work aspects of being a player and a coach. The idea that everybody just shows up and starts whipping each other with towels and giving each other weird haircuts is a bit foreign.

I always suspected Bowens was soft. Sounds like Shula got a little weak in his later years, amirite, guys? No wonder the team declined.

    What?

You said Richie would be really stupid to do something racist, you brought up the favorite martyr-of-the-year, and I responded. I don't automatically assume Richie is a racist, but I also don't automatically assume that any accusations of racism are false.

I hope that clears it up for you.

Sorry, the "s" is for sarcasm. That's not my real opinion. I was just riffing on some of the "what Shula would have done" posts.

I just googled military hazing. Guess what, your perfect idealistic world isn't so perfect and idealistic in the military.

    https://www.google.ca/search?q=mili...9IDwDA&sqi=2&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1734&bih=987

Hazing happens, typically to a group of men or women that share a common goal, camaraderie, or association (sports team, college frat, etc). You don't see lawyers doing this shhh because they are lawyers. Their hazing is probably making the new partner pay for dinner or something, but the principle is still there, even in professional white collar jobs. I don't even want to think what investment bankers do, although it probably involves fast cars, expensive women, and an eight ball.

Martin blew this out of proportion. Although I don't condone Incog's behavior, I doubt it is anything but standard in locker rooms. Remember this?

Well you can use Google. You're clearly an expert on military life now. Well done. One of the pictures from your link was Jack Nicholson in a Few Good Men. Excellent.

Thanks. I am very proud of myself. I am no expert, but I am not naïve either.

EDIT: Is this serious enough for you? Again, gotta credit google. We all aren't experts like you.
