I'm curious as to why you don't agree. Is it simply because Miami beat Atlanta?

As far as why I don't expect a winning streak, I'll rely on recent history. Last year, Miami lost a close game at Indianapolis, 23-20. After that, they knew they had a two-game stretch in 5 days, almost exactly where we are this year. Miami got blown out, at home, by Tennessee and proceeded to play a mistake-filled game at Buffalo and lost 19-4.

Miami's just lost a close game, and are going into New England - a tough prospect regardless, then have a short turnaround to face Cincinnati. Based on Joe Philbin's inexperience last year and saying after the game today that he didn't do a good job of getting the team ready to play, I have a hard time believing this coaching staff will have the team fully prepared to take on two damn good football teams in the next 15 days.

If a winning streak is going to happen, I believe it'll happen coming off that Halloween game. They've got Tampa Bay, San Diego, Carolina, and Pittsburgh, and even now I don't think you can earmark any of those as wins, other than maybe Tampa.

I think with Sherman, part of it is the offense being torpedoed by a porous O-line and bad decisions by Tannehill. The other part of it is him abandoning his gameplans too quickly. With Kevin Coyle, I think it's more of 1) having a scheme that doesn't maximize the players Miami has 2) not being well prepared and 3) not adjusting well in-game.

Teams have tape on Miami now, and they've figured out how to take advantage of our weaknesses. Miami's done a lesser job of covering them up.

We were the better passing team, performed better in the RZ and on third down, and weren't penalized as much. The TOs were even. IMO, we out played them.

We'll see what happens, I just think it's arrogant to think you know what will happen and ignorant not to think we can turn it around. I think we can win 4 straight against Cincinatti, TB, SD and Carolina. I don't see Pittsburgh as a win.

What's even more relevant is that playoff teams don't usually lose two in a row in their home stadium during the regular season. I agree that this team looks like it is headed to a 3-5 start for the first half of this season.

People were fooled because they ignored the details. This team is showing the same flaws in the 3 game losing streak as it did in the winning streak.

Arrogance, c'mon now. I'm merely citing last year as an eerily similar example.

    BTW, it's Cincinnati.

There is just so much overreacting and quitting on a team that people have going to the playoffs. Sure we had a rough couple of weeks, but two of the games came down to the wire. Remember the Jets and Cardinals games last year? It is the same thing but against better teams. The Bills have a good defense and if it weren't for a few mistakes would have been held to 13 points. I would think that the team sees Clabo's performance as bench worthy after the ultimatum so one turnstile will be moved. It is a long season and the division is really close with the Patsies having 2 losses.

Threads like this are the main reason I will be avoiding the forums until we win again. It gets me so mad how after 6 games and only 1 division game people are giving up on the team. The Dolphins showed what they can do when they play mistake-free football vs Indy, the other 5 games were full of mistakes. Chin up Dolphins fans, we got this.

I think you guys have a good team. As a lifelong fan I can tell you that the thing this Bills team has going for them, is there is no quit in them at all. I like our young coaching staff alot. Combined with a variety of play-makers, despite their inconsistency, this team can win some close ugly games. We almost beat the Pats, Jets and Bengals. I think our biggest loss was by 7 points. I would not feel horrible over the loss. You guys keep focusing on Thad as your reason for your "fans hopelessness" on this board. I think that Thad or EJ you would see the same game plan. Play smart, aggressive defense, play careful on offense and try to win the game late. Very much a Rex Ryan sort of gameplan, not surprising given our D-Coordinator. The breaks went this Bills way and the late fumble got it done. Coulda gone either way. Your team showed fight and I think if they do not "lose" the team, you can give the Pats all they handle next week. They are really lacking on offensive weapons. Plus no accounting for the heart of Fred Jackson... He never quits.

How did the Bills almost beat the Jets when the Bills never held the lead in the game? It was tied 0-0 for 5:54 of the first quarter. It was then tied 20-20 for 4 plays before the Jets made it 27-20. I'd hardly call that "almost beat." I will say that the Bills are a lot better than I thought they would be and I could see them beating the Jets at home when they meet again.

Pats are very beatable. Most people here have the Miami defense rated better than the Jets (or very close) and the Jets were able to limit the Pats O. Brady was sacked 4 times and held to under a 50% completion percentage. The Pats were 1-12 on 3rd down. Miami should be able to apply the same pressure and rattle Brady. This is not the Pats of old. Very beatable.

Ok I guess tying it at 20 and then losing on a TD is not "almost beat". It was, however, "very winnable". My point was that the Bills are not as terrible, though very perplexing I will admit, as some here would think. I say that because I think you all are bashing your team, more than you ought to because you lost to a competitive Bills team. The Phins are a good team IMO-

I was happy the Pats lost. I was sad the Jets won.

However that is generally the case when I watch division games.

You are completly right, I have seen one playoff season from the team, but I guess it is my optimism and the fact that I know what a failure of a team looks like that keeps my faith alive

You know I hope your optimism pays off because I want a winner but I have seen this same story replayed over and over.I am really starting to get sick of it.The 3-0 start really had me fooled and now 3 games later we are the same average team we are every year.I have no faith in the coaches, and yes even the qb.You can't continue to turn the ball over game after game and expect to win.
