If Danny Watkins,Will Yeatman, and Nate Garner are so worthless that we have to acquire worthless old Bryant McKinnie; why don't we just cut them and go poaching the practice squads of the NFL?

I would have thought moving Jerry out to RT and Danny Watkins to RG would be better than bringing in an oaf like McKinnie.

If Nate Garner and Will Yeatman aren't considered viable replacements for a complete failure like Clabo, why not grab a couple young prospects and look to the future.

Obviously it just isn't going to happen with Yeatman.

There must be some young talent on one or two practice squads of 32 NFL teams. At least we would have a chance of the roster spot eventually producing something of value.

We dont know he is being signed as the "starter" they might cut Clabo and need the depth.

When you sign a player off the practice squad you have to sign them to your active roster, which means cutting one of the 53 already on your roster. I don't know if you know that, but that's one reason.

The second one being: if it was just that easy all the teams would be doing it.

I'm literally done questioning the moves or lack of moves made by our front office, I've accepted the fact that Ireland is so inept that it's ****ing embarrassing that he still has a job and it's actually insane that he was given an extension. At this point I'm simply counting down the days until he's gone, his pending dismissal is the only thing that matters right now. I don't give a **** about the stadium, the uniforms, the fans, the coaches, I wish I could just fast forward to January and read the news that he's finally been fired so I can pop bottles.

Are you kidding me with that post??

Did you read the original post correctly? The whole point of the thread was these guys taking up space on the roster, and then you respond by asking if I realize that we would have to make room for poached players on the active roster????????

Sorry, and with all due respect, but that is a ridiculous and absurd response.

As far as the last remark about every team would do it if were easy; every team doesn't have what is obviously the worst OL depth in the NFL!!!!

    Get a clue.

    1. Chill. Out.

    2. Yes, I read your post and thought about my reply before I replied.

Who is to say they cut those particular players they replace?

Yes, it makes sense to cut those particular players, but who's to say that those particular players get cut with the people we have in charge? I don't believe they would. Not the people we have in charge. They are why we have the oline we have in the first place. Keep that in mind.

It's not beyond them to pick up oline and cut some other position. I have seen it done with other positions.

Yes, I asked if you realized we have to make room for poached players on the active roster - a lot of people do not know this, I've found

    3. That's fine if you feel that way. I was just trying to be helpful.

    4. Yes, I agree about our OLine depth.

I have a clue. Get some chill pills and take them ... yesterday.
