http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/16/us/new-jersey-ex-nfl-player-indicted/?iref=obinsite maybe he was desperate, but what idiot thinks that they won't get caught with this kind of scam? Guess Irving cleaning up his act was just a temporary thing.
Dirty. Dissapointing lack of morals. The (alleged) fact that his mother was involved doesn't speak well of them. You hate when this is someone in a position of youth leadership. - sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 beta -
This day and age how did the backround checks and credit reports not send up a red flag to the other banks? And why were the loans dismissed as losses by the banks instead of going after them since a home was put up for collateral??
Not only a youth leader but he also was a Christian minister. Still don't see how someone who's made millions (upwards of 15 million) ends up being broke. http://www.nj.com/hssports/blog/foo..._spreads_his_message_to_new_congregation.html
It's really not that hard to blow through that much money when you're living in a higher tax bracket. after taxes, buy a really nice home, probably buy one for your mother, a couple of cars, that'll eat up a good portion of it right there.
Wasn't there a 30 for 30 that kind of dealt with that subject? Anyway, the basic answer is **** money management from people who don't know how to manage money and didn't hire or listen to anyone that does.
