If he can make it through the week without a setback, Patterson will likely play Sunday against the Bills.
The same could be said for much of the Dolphins’ mending defense, which hasn’t been whole since the second half of the season opener.
That’s when Patterson hurt his groin. Since then, Cam Wake, Paul Soliai, Dannell Ellerbe, Chris Clemons, Koa Misi, Philip Wheeler and Nolan Carroll have all missed parts of – if not entire – games due to injury.
But thanks a well-timed bye, the Dolphins’ health on the defensive side is much improved. Only one player on that side of the ball – Soliai – was absent from practice Monday, and that was due to illness.

Good. we need our defense to be healthy enough to kick some *** next week - build some confidence again going into the next game vs Patsies

Sweet, let's gear up for this divisional stretch, the games that really matter. The other good injury news is that the Pats roster is just broken down right now. 5 of their top 6 players injured: Wilfork, Talib, Mayo, Gronk, Amendola - key guys. The time is now to beat them Pats!!

I think the D needs to re-establish a dominant personality..they've lost their Swagger.

Shut down Spiller and Jackson, De's and Lb's need to cause more mayhem

Good news. Hopefully we get them all back, but I also hope they don't rush anyone back and hinder their recovery, especially if they've been out for a while like Patterson. Easing him in against the Bills with the plan of him being 100% for the Pats might work best.

I have been anxious to see Dimitri Patterson come back after he intercepted two passes in the first game, hopefully he can get one or two more in this game. I have also been anxious to see Wake and our brand new DE form the twin Krackens and unleashed on the opposing teams.

    You don't matter.But anyway, you're amusing.

Here are some stats. Yep, his numbers are top 5. Pretty much invisible if you ask me. See you're playing that card too. :pointlol:

Holy ****, Jerod Mayo done for the year. Pats in serious trouble on defense, imo. Their two best players (Wilfork & Mayo), the guys at the core of that defense, DONE; Talib iffy and didn't make it through last season either. Wow.

This is shaping up really well for our division/playoff chances.

No time soon, he's just a bad player right now, you can tell missing Camp has messed him up.

As for the patsies injury problems, Mayo is arguable as Spikes has upped his game, losing Wilfork though, is huge for them.

To me, the last two games have featured a mostly depleted defense that was knicked up and missing pieces, now everyone should be back on board and we'll have a better idea of what sort of team we actually are in 2013.

Patterson over Carrol is a no brainer choice, not that Carrol is terrible, it is more he just a passable Cb who does not make enough plays and when he tries to make them happen it does not work out.

Can't gamble, can't play it safe.
