You see him constantly attempting to step up into the pocket. Problem? There is no pocket.

All the sacks he either attempted to scramble but couldn't find a way out, or he was hit too quickly.

I don't think the Tackles are pushing the DE's out wide enough.

It's almost like defenses figured out that if all 4 (or 3) guys bull rush they can get into the backfield, since our tackles aren't strong enough, all the while containing Tannehill. Recipe for disaster.

There has been so many times, Martin has done an okay job blocking for the first couple seconds; Slowing the DE down, while being walked back and all he really needs to learn how to do is turn his body and use the DE's momentum and his leverage to push the DE out wide behind Tannehill. Instead he stops moving his feet, loses leverage and the rest is history. Correct that little issue and he could actually be decent.

Why try any fancy move when straight up bull rushing is working so well. Both tackles are constantly getting beat inside, even if Tannehill steps up, he just walks right into the DEs.

Also SMDH at Wallace. Two straight plays, pass near the endzone that he was supposed to complete a route and instead looked to be trying to block, and the very next play, a drop.

We're never gonna call him swifty but I find it non coincidental that the biggest most pressurized play of the game, he escapes the rush early, rolls left, squares up beautifully and makes a wonderful play, point is he never felt the pressure he just said fu&$ this, I ain't gettin sacked in the last damn play of the game.

And f* the coaching staff for making me an immobile danger to myself. Careers have been derailed and finished early with the type of sh*t he has to deal with weekly.

    1st sack, no outlet

2nd sack, Wallace covered over the middle. Possible outlet to I think Gibson on the sideline

Just want to note the outstanding play to BH @ 2:50; semi-broken play

Everyone should pause it @4:03. By the time Tanny can bounce off the top of his drop he is being sandwiched. Jesus... It's actually a really good play call too and would have been a first down and maybe more

Sack @ 4:45, nowhere to go with the ball

Sack @ 5:32. Ryan could have moved a bit, possibly finding Miller as the outlet.

Sack @ 5:45. The outlet is there but useless on 3rd & 14. Possible option to scramble right. Ryan was looking deep left all the way

Stopped watching after the play to Gibson

As should be pointed out, THill is not really able to 3 step drop due to tipped passes.

Wow, he throws a pretty ball. I hate when he underthrows on deep balls, but it appears that he can't step into his throw b/c of the poor pocket. He really has an arm on him and he is athletic. Impressive. I was encouraged watching it.

I think he looks really good in the video whenever he is given even a little time to pass. I would love to see him move out of the pocket a little more. He is fantastic throwing on the run.

Tannehill's completion % should be roughly 65% (if not better) according to the average differences.

Really seemed like at the end of the game, there was no imagination, no creativity on the play calls. A come back route to Wallace. An short out route to Clay... over and over... At least Tannehill was able to create by himself to get us close on the 4th down to Gibson. But other than that, it was somewhat predictable those last two drives. Couple that with bad protection by the tackles and it's hard to close a game out offensively.... although that's really the first time we've played like that all season in the final two minutes of the half (or end of the game)

Does anyone know why we refuse to run bubble screens?....

I would think bubble screens to Thigpen...would be very effective. I mean...NE used them to kill teams to death...

Lol...I get giddy watching him throw the ball......if we had a line....OMG would it be unreal to watch

By the way...is there anyone in the NFL that throws a better...more beautiful throw on the run then Tannehill?

The flexibility in his upper body to square on the run is something you rarely see, his upper body is literally facing his target yet from the waist down he's going sideways, when he sets that upper body and gets his arm back all in one motion like some sort of wind up toy, enjoy it while you can, it might be another five games before you see it again.

I was just going to mention... one thing Tannehill (and his accuracy percentage) doesn't get the benefit of is a lot of WR screen plays. I count three during this game. And as they're sort of extended run plays, all three of them netted decent results. The one to Wallace was especially nice as he got nine yards, and in that, there's also a threat that he could break out of there for something big if he finds the right crease. And Thigpen made five yards on his play, which is better than our typical run play. And with Wallace, on an over-aggressive CB, if you run those types of plays enough, there's always the pump-and-go play that you could run off them. Then, when the DB is playing 10 - 12 yards off, you could just audible into a three yard stop route - not a screen, just a safe throw with possibilities. Get the defender back-pedaling, throw it out to Wallace and see what he can do with the space. They're easy catches with not a lot of drop-potential, and Wallace's speed is feared enough that there's some space for him. Seems like we could get quite a few yards on easy completions like that over the course of a game.

It's funny because marv Albert on the 4th down call while the play is goin on says "Tannehill cannot square up" ( because his eyes are so used to seeing qbs slow down to have to square) then in one motion, Ryan's cocks his sh&$ and launches it at full speed.
