Yes, we were punched in the mouth last night.......but some of you act like its the end of the road for us...WOW. We are 3-1 and heading home to play in front of our home crowd! We learned a valuable lesson ( a lesson only learned through experience) last night and I'm hoping that the coaching staff can make the proper adjustments... Truth is everyone we play from now on will try to abuse our O-line again and again. We all knew we had O-line issues, but because we won despite said issue we all felt good inside....... thus said issue was exposed to the fullest. Then we have saints players downing us after the game.....Priceless. Man I wish we can play the saints again tonight! We are heading in the right direction and we can still be a force this year. If the team uses this Lost as motivation...look out AFC! Think you can embarrass us on national Tv and think no one has to die......LOL Not in MIAMI B****! Get the coffins ready because We are going Bird hunting (Ravens).....All I want to know is, who's coming with me? P.S It seemed to me that The saints were daring us to run....but were so pass happy its not funny anymore! Run the ball please. Run The D@mn ball more than a couple times a series. Thank you.
Hopefully the Fins that will move on from this loss and onto the Ravens. Hard to move on. But still it is time to!
3rd and Inches!!....WTF kind of play call was that? I mean, I still don't think we would have won the game, but geez......it was a momentum changer for sure. The way they moved the ball on that drive, I thought for sure they were going in for 6!I hope the coaching staff learned from that! Tannehill just leans forward and its a 1st down!
I'm really tired of hearing third and inches. It was third and INCH. Singular. Makes the call that much more ridiculous.
Look.. we know every single time we lose. We are gonna have a crowd of panic induced drama queens run through the forums with their panties on fire. Just the way it is. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
I had the same problem last night but when she asks for one more inch if you don't have it you just don't have it.
Yes,it really was literally an inch. If Tannehill gets the snap and moves the slightest bit forward the refs would have to call it a first down. A momentum changer to say the least. Also if Wallace catches that damn ball down the sideline or if Tannehill doesnt fumble right before the half when we were actually driving for the lead then it might have been a whole new ballgame. EDIT: Actually I believe it was the INT. right before the half not the fumble.
3 and 1 by a team In its 2nd year isn't good enough for us?? Whys that?? Are we gonna show our *** at the stadium because of it, let the team see another non sellout?? Comin home to a big game, we win, we are so ahead of schedule, it's worth it at this point to support and be happy..
I'm watching the OL like a hawk for changes, and do not know what to think of Patterson's recovery. Otherwise, what I'm seeing is lesser players stepping up and making plays for us, always a good sign. Objectively the Ravens are coming in at a perfect time for us, heading into the Bye week if the OL plays badly it gives the Staff extra time to make changes. AFC game, we have to win it.
Yeah, well its all about how the request is issued. If ya bust out the chains, sometimes you find you never even need another inch!
What changes? Depth is a joke and what coaching is going to make Jerry or Clabo suddenly better? We have to suck this up and go with what we have imo. Whether Tannehill will make week 10 let alone the playoffs with the projections of how many sacks and hits he is/will be taking is anyones guess.
As Mike Tyson famously said, "Everyone has a plan 'til they get punched in the mouth". NOW we will see who this team, this coach, this QB really are.... we will also see who WE are, as fans. Only real change that CAN happen this week is.....The O-line's PRIDE was severely crushed by the Saints on national TV. Then to be called out as unit by the other team.....I mean C'mon!!! If that's not motivation, what is? If I was on that O-line this weekend, I would have no words, because I'm focused on Kicking AZZ Sunday !!!!! Period! I would rather die on the field, trying so hard, then have another performance like Monday night.
