    Interesting.

I mean, coaches ALWAYS like their players until they have to face other, BETTER players. So, I'm sure they look good, but at this level, in the NFL, are they GREAT? Because they'll need to be.

Also, I WANTED to ask Keyshawn that when I saw him here at a poolbar this weekend but I never got to ask him! SO glad to know the anwer. So Parcells did not pursue him.

I'm sure Ireland didn't care to.

Yes this is interesting, it seems like every year some of our lower rung receivers always impress us before the pads come on. Some even carry that when the pads do come on. It just seems like every year we are excited by a number 3, 4, 5 wide receiver that just seems to never pan out.

However, I'm still hopeful that Haganwill become productive like he was in college. If he can become anywhere near as productive as what he was in college, and assuming Ginn Continues his growth we could have a fairly solid receiving corps.

Man I am so glad to hear this. I am really happy to here Derek Hagan is doing well. I am also glad to hear about David Kircus I really hope he can do well here. I think he will be like the next Wes Welker in the way he just put it all pot there during practice and the games. Not going to lie I am getting really excited about this season. It just seems like we have so much going for us and that we are headed in the right direction instead of still being upset about last season. We seem to have a ton of confidence and we are not going to let any thing stop us. I am also excited to hear that Kaeyshwan Johnson might be leaning toward a come back. I know a lot of people dont like that but I think if anything he will be a good teacher for our young wide recivers and he also looks like he has at least one more year in the tank.

Yes, but consider what you are "assuming". Ginn, maybe can/will improve. But I'd have to say that if Hagan shows up its going to be a shock. For two seasons he's shown nothing except that every other team was right about passing on him. So if Ginn is as good as we think he will be and Hagan (as I, and many others expect) does nothing, our WR corps is the pits. We need to address it, to be certain.

I share your excitement, I am just a year behind you. I think this year we are too young, too thin at WR, to limited at LB, and too uncertain at QB and DB to contend. I see a 5-11 or 6-10 season. I think next season we will have added a stud WR, hopefully George Selvie (from The Supremely Underated USF Bulls), and the QB and OL will have had a year to mature.

I think in 09 this team is going to shock alot of teams. It could the best team we've had in Miami for decades.

It'll be interesting to see if Johnson decides to make his return magically AFTER training camp concludes...

I wouldn't doubt it, and not just because he doesn't want to participate in the grind of TC but also to see if our corps of WRs suck as bad as people are saying they do...should they suck that bad I expect Parcells to give Johnson a call and Johnson would be here in a sec.

That being said, I really hope our young guys step up.

Hagan still has to show me something on the field before I get excited about him. Kirkus has to show me he has the ability to stay healthy. And Camarillo has to show me he has more than one good play in him a season. BTW, no news on Davone Bess?
