Well, despite their Red Zone troubles, aside from this game, the Falcons have come out smoking in their other three. So far, the second halves and Red Zone scoring has been their nemesis. I don't think Mike Smith has lost confidence. Maybe a bit in the running game with some of their injuries. But Matt Ryan has slung it like 25 times this first half.

The going for it on fourth-and-two was a little out of character for Smith, so I do think there is some frustration. But they're still moving the ball, so I don't think he's lost confidence.

 

I haven't read thru this whole thread, so this has probably been mentioned, but the Dolphins' win against Cleveland is starting to look better and better. The Browns have lost to the Dolphins and Ravens, and they've now beaten the Vikings and Bengals, the latter of which has been purported to be an AFC championship contender.

The win over Indy is going to look better and better as the year goes on. Their only loss is to Miami. The game against Jax they sort of went thru the motions and a sluggish start, but they still beat the Jags like a good team beats a terrible one.

And, I guess we'll see with ATL tonight.

Dobson catches one on Trufant. Takes me back to the senior bowl. Though I don't remember if Dobson caught any on Trufant in those practices.

 

Once, just one time, I'd like to see an official throw a flag on Brady for unsportsmanlike conduct. Dude is THE biggest ***** in the league.

who the Pats receivers are, they make the plays and catch the balls when it matters, 4-0 Pats with some unknown rookies that we will soon get familiar with.

 

YAY that the Pats play Denver & Houston but we don't. That's a nice bounce for our schedule.
