https://twitter.com/wendellpierce/status/382358473478262784 "Y'all don't know the joy of a real tailgate in the French Quarter, walking to the Dome to whip that Dolphin ***, then back to QUARTER! PARTY" Of course, he doesn't either, cause the Dolphins have never played in the Dome before. Not during the regular season, at least.
pretty sure I remember the dolphins playing the Saints in the superdome when I was a kid living down in that area.
That is funny, the last time the Phins played in NO was in 2005... The Saints lost 21-6 and Ricky had almost 200 yards on the ground that day...
Nothing wrong with what others away from South FL to finally noting what we down here are seeing.. We have a franchise QB and all the media covering Luck, Kap, Wilson and RGIII, are missing the boat... they are just realizing this now...
I'm pretty sure we played them in a game in which the refs screwed us a few years ago. Edit: Yep...here you go... It was this game ... http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins_in_depth/2009/10/dolphins-jobbed-on-sharpers-td-replay.html
Methinks be ought to be focusing more on those crappy clearance numbers... Sent from my LG-MS770 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Meh...nothing but talk. They have every reason to be high on how the Saints are playing now...besides he's likely to be the same guy we used to see with bags over their heads, calling themselves the Aints....
I remember playing the saints in NO but at lsu's stadium due to Katrina damage, no? I think we won the game. Aaron Brooks was their qb
Well, it's no wonder we beat them. You mean Aaron Brooks? Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk 4
I'm almost positive Miami has played in the dome a number of times. In fact I remember a game where Bernie Kosar filled in for Dan Marino in a 33-30 loss in the dome. There had to have been a few more also.
It was, 2009 in Miami. 46-34 but the refs really did screw us when they didn't allow an obvious fumble when NO picked Henne and returned it for a TD. That really sunk any chances to win that game.
Yep.. same season, the refs fooked us over in the Steelers game where Clemmons caused a fumble near our goalline and they gave the ball back to Pissburgh and they scored.
You can use footballdb (http://www.footballdb.com/teams/nfl/miami-dolphins/opponents) to see some historical scores/stats/years for games. We last played the Saints on the road in 2005, but it was in Baton Rouge after the Superdome Katrina damage. So the Dolphins last played a regular season game in the Louisiana Superdome in October 1995. So, Toy Story wasn't even out yet and the Saints were still the 'Aints.

Pitt was the best Gene Staratore: After review, we are stupid. Therefore the ruling on the field is a do-over. Please tip the waitstaff
They gave the Saints 14 points in that game. They were running out of clock in the first half but completed a pass that got them to the 1 yard line and the refs essentially gave them a free timeout (Brees did a QB keeper for the TD afterwards) Between that and Ginn making Sharper fumble which would have been a touchback, it was brutal.
Wasn't the '05 game in Baton Rouge on LSU's field because the dome was under constructive post Katrina? Pretty sure the Phins have never played in that dome.
Ugh, the painful losses thread. Yeah, Manning had the ball for 1 minute and 47 seconds and still beat us. (modest exaggeration, very modest)
