Our OL is atrocious. Florida's DL is extremely good but our run blocking is really really bad. Duke got hit in the backfield on damn near every run. Not worried about Stephen Morris. This defense is legit this year. We're not playing bend dont break anymore. D'Onofrio is aggressive this year, has confidence in the players. 3-4 scheme has looked terrific in stopping the run. Held Florida to 2.8 ypc on 44 attempts. DL is greatly improved with Porter finally healthy, and the new additions. Chickillo looks great and McCord has looked great as a pass rush specialist. Tracy Howard is a stud. Not so sure about Crawford. Had some Reggie Howard moments today. I think I'd be more confident with Gunter starting on the outside. I thought he was solid last year. All this without our best player in the secondary, Deon Bush. Really thought he'd play today. Guess we'll see him get some practice in next week in a blowout win.
I have no worries about him. He'll get it together as the season goes on. Florida's defense is great and put us in 3rd and long situations all night.
Absolutely. They were right on the edge of being ranked going into this week, so after this win they have to be ranked I would think.
Good game guys. I don't know how good that defense is cause Florida's offense is so bad but they played great today. Good Luck the rest of the year
He had a rough game but look at what he's done over his college career and how he keeps getting better. He'll be drafted and he'll make an NFL roster.
Have to admit, the Al Golden has done a great job of bringing us back from the brink of irrelevance, a couple of years ago beating the Gators would have been a pipe dream.
Why is the NCAA dragging their feet on a ruling? It's really starting to piss me off. What should read into this? Good or bad?
Copy and pasting this from the Gator thread. Great work guys Baseball Recruiting Rankings per Collegiate Baseball 1. Florida 3. FSU 4. Miami Incredible how successful the Florida Schools are. Miami has been a powerhouse for awhile tho.
A D-Lineman landed on his ankle and it tweaked a bit. The X-rays were negative. Golden said he's going to let him stay off of it for a couple of days. Side note: Ryan Williams looks like a good qb.
Stephen Morris bone bruise. Should be good to go for USF but I'd consider sitting him. USF is terrible.
