http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8277036/Nine-offseason-moves-that-must-be-made 1. Miami needs to trade Jason Taylor to Green Bay 2. Tampa should deal Chris Simms ... now! Deal him for a late-round pick and end it. Seattle, Houston, Miami, Oakland and the Giants could have interest.
I rather wait for Simms to get cut. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Giants go after him since they just cut Jared Pillsberry Throwboy Lorenzen.
I wouldn't count it out completely. Sims has a lot more upside than Josh McCown if he could be had cheap.
I love how this article is written in a tone like those are things we have control over. Yes, WE need to trade JT. Bc its def Mia thats making a trade impossible...riiight. Like we havent been trying to unload him for the last 4 months. Sims would have been a nice pick up before McCown and Henne. Hard to say how many reps we could really give him right now though. We def need to concentrate on Beck/McCown getting as many snaps as possible and Henne getting the remains. I dont know how well Sims would fit in with our situation. He still has potential but I duno if its worth it at this point. Sims is just one more factor that makes me wonder why the F couldnt we work out a deal with Tampa for JT? If we roll with 4 Qbs it also makes the the 4 (would be 5 then) cuts we need to make to get down to 80 that much more complicated.
I agree with number one Jason Taylor needs to be traded period. I love the man for what he's done here but he's burned his bridges now. At this point separation between the Fins and Jason is best for everybody. As to Chris Simms, at this point in time I just don't think he fits in with what Parcells and Sparano are trying to do. Actually, I wouldn't have minded Chris Simms in place and Josh McCown. I just don't think that moves and I happened at this point in time.
