Mohr asked about the Wallace "situation"...smh Koa declined to get into it. Took the high road. Said good things about Dion. Not much info...
Koa Misi has taken his game to another level.. Combined with Odrick in the middle I'm thinking it might be time for me to think Ireland did the right thing going two for one in that draft..I know that I wanted Brandon graham then, so I'm not sure I would swap him for this combination.. Misi/Odrick are both 25 and coming into their own.. Misi is way better in coverage, is starting to move much more fluidly, is strong as hell at the POA, can shed and finish, and is hitting people very hard when he arrives..He was the best linebacker on the field imo in game 1.
I Would Agree With Most If This. However, I Think Our Lbs Need To Tighten Up On Fundamentals And Mental Lapses. Ellerbe Missed A Few Tackles, Wheeler Was Confused On A Number Of Passing Plays D/T All The Shifting Of The Offense And Was Late Covering His Assignment. Misi Was Very Active But Had A Number Of Lapses During Pass Plays And Totally Missed His Assignment. Hopefully They Will Clear Those Issues Up. I Agree That I Feel Confident In Misi's Play And Glad That He Got The Extension.Edit: Sorry For The Capitalization of Every Word. Flipping Cell phone. smh
I actually wanted Dez Bryant or Pierre Paul at the time...but any of the NINE 1st round studs we missed out on would have sufficed and contributed more than what Odrick and Misi combined have given us.
I get what your saying, those are two impactful players, I just think it's getting close enough to loosen the grips on the criticism in this particular case and let it play out a bit more, there's still some upside with Misi and Odrick starting on this defense..
Misi has been consistent, that's all. Nothing special Still should have drafted K.Greene to replace him. Who is that sloth of a Gator they drafted anyway?
