I think the OL is the bigger issue.

Our OL run blocking was atrocious.

OL got caught with their pants down:

Barry Sanders and Emmitt Smith coudlnt have run behind our line today.

I don't see the relevance of this.

I do think we misused Reggie in his time here, but whatever... who cares. He's not here anymore.

Reggie Bush rushed for 90 yards today and caught passes for another 101 yards. He scored two TD's. I wish Lamar Miller would catch whatever disease Bush has.

The Dolphins won today because the defense played great. It certainly didn't win because of the RB's on the Dolphins. I thought letting Bush go in free agency was a huge mistake and I feel even more that way now.

Cant deny the big play making ability of Bush. Miller and Thomas still have to prove themselves, which they have yet to do. Blame it on the Oline or the RB's. Either way something better change. Great job by Tannehill carrying our offense today! Dolphins win! Enjoy this guys!

Well.. I do care about Bush. I prefer it trimmed, or gone entirely, however I do care about it. Just not the Reggie variety any longer...

F Bush, seriously. Had he played behind our line today, he'd have danced and jooked and lost more yards than our 2 RBs did. He's not here because the management/coaches didn't like him in our system, the system they as coaches know and are familiar and comfortable with, oh F'ing well...let it go...

If we have other plans and a seriously deficient run blocking line at the moment, so be it, he's gone...read that word again...GONE...Miller and Thomas didn't have a bad day today, the line did...if you can't see that, there's some baseball games on.

He had 90 yards in 20 carries. Lets not get to torn up. He would have been negative yards running our offense today. Our run game and formations are just TO PREDICTABLE!!!! I can call it every time I see it. If we used more PA passing they would have to stop keying on the run game so much. They would stack the box about every time we ran the ball, they knew it was coming.

Bush is better than either of our running backs but he would have struggled today as well. Our OL was getting manhandled at the POA and our backs were getting hit behind the LOS. He may have broke one or two here and there but I can't imagine anyone would have rushed for more than 30-40 yards behind that OL.

I've said it before, Reggie is going to have a career year. 1700+ rushing and receiving with 10+ tds with Detroit's offense.

I firmly believe with the numbers our RBs put up today, that if we still had reggie, and you took away all the yards he LOST, reggie would have put up an astounding 0 in this game

    The o-line was atrocious

How did all these people forget that every time reggie ran for 10+ he would have like 7 negative plays ...and not just like little plays this dude would run further backthan a scrambling quarterback for 5-10 yard losses ALL THE TIME, EVERY GAME.

I was a huge reggie fan, like huge, but the dude had crazy legs and second guessed himself when should have just had 1 cut.......... this is dumb

Football outsiders rated Reggie Bush as top 10 in success rate last year. Ahead of many marquee running backs. Success rate is pretty objective too.

This talk about him losing instead of taking what's given is way overblown. Before this game the talk of Detroit's OL was they were going to be atrocious as well. Our blocking was terrible but we had no creativity in the run game. Our guys were running into defenders who didn't even have their head up.

Never said he was the second coming or a star RB or anything to that line of thinking...I'm just saying Bush is gone, let him go, but obviously there was more to what I said?

    the poor house
the win was great but we have three issue and all can be fixed.

    1. play calling , Sherman seems to be misusing our talent and I think that could be 50 %of the problem . Am I off base ?

    2. the problems with our oline seem to be plaguing us for what, 8 years now I believe that Ireland is the problem Not Philbin

.3 our running backs might be able to get the job don't but Reggie was a playmaker and so far Miller and Thomas have yet to make highlight reels.

damn right it's the bigger issue... all you ball washers... i mean ball watchers need to focus more on where the action really is (or isn't) up front.

That's odd. He looks very good when dlineman aren't in the backfield as soon as he touches the ball. Letting Reggie walk a mistake, but our running game is an oline issues, not a RB one.

Because the whole point of this thread is that somehow Bush would have miraculously provided a running game today. Just showing he didn't have any luck either vs Cleveland.

Its a bad angle man. Bush made plays here regardless of bad OL etc. Hell he did it today in a real football game that counts. Helped his team WIN.
You are using a preseason game as an example. I would never go there. Even in desperation.

Because most first year starting RBs run for 150-200 yards their first game. Come on man, you're not being fair towards Miller. No one is saying he's going to be All-Pro, but you're ignoring the fact that the OL played like a wet paper bag today. Not even Ricky Williams in his prime would have had a good game today with our OL.

I don't know. Daniel Thomas was on the field a lot. I guess the coaches weren't feeling Miller. It says a whole bunch to me.
Thomas punched it in with that same OL.

Holy ****. I wish I had a pre-disposed ignorant position on a player so I could shout it from the mountain tops when it shows up ONCE. I bet the Tanny haters were saying how horrible he was after his INT as well.

Give this parroting crap a rest, it's tired. Neither of our RB's could run today, our O-line made no holes, and the Cleveland front 7 is actually pretty darn good.
But keep on ****in that chicken
