well I will take my medicine because I was clearly wrong about Hartline and I don't think its all on the players I still don't like Sherman but I am laying off of the players for maybe it was the play calling more then the execution . truth be known I would rather be wrong about some of this stuff then to be right and end up lke Jacksonville fans.

So much for the experts who picked against Miami. Now a week to sort out the running game and penalties.

Big win on the road guys for a team that has struggled on the road and in the first game of the year.

im so hyped baby. Pouncey and tannehill pulling mathews off. You could clearly see puncey point to the scoreboard. just awesome.

 

Honestly....our run game sucked..but our offense was still really good.

Brandon.. if that made highlight reels it would announce to the NFL that this defense is a top 5 D this year.

Honestly, we beat a team we should have but the oline run blocking is as bad as I've evr seen. Defense will keEp us in games but right now if we don't improve the oline its another .500 type of season

 

I've read posters defending Wallace. Yep he,s taking coverage from Hartline and Gibson but I expect more. Don't care for excuses for #11. He,s No1 WR isn't he or did I miss something? Nice to stretch but if he does this every week he will have poor stats. I expect some catches.

This defense has officially beat up Weeden. can't wait to see this D once Jordan get's going and our rookie corners get healthy!

 

I agree, but I also expect the chemistry to grow as the year goes on. Wallace had a step on a deep ball that was thrown towards the safety, and Wallace was wide open in the end zone when Tannehill scrambled and hit Gibson for a first inside the 10 yard line. We need more production out of him no doubt, but I think it will come.

 

You do understand that the job of a WR is more than putting numbers on the stat sheet right? Speedy guys like him, are used alot to dictate the matchups you get on the field. He doesn't need to catch the ball, to have an impact on the game. Today is a perfect example of that. The gameplan doesn't always call for him to get catches. He's taking two guys downfield every play, that opens up routes underneath for Hartline, and Gibson. We took advantage of that. That's the contribution today from Wallace. It was designed that way, and it worked to perfection. So, I dont care what his stat sheet says, and neither should you. Unless he's on your fantasy team... then... Im sorry. But I;ll take a phins win, over anyones fantasy team anyday.
