I give to you theganggreen.com. This was a thread called "After watching some preseason, has your W-L prediction changed?" For the record, most of the Jet fans in there were realistic, but there's always gems like this. Enjoy: And my favorite of the bunch...
I'm cautiously optimistic the Jets will be terrible. But I always worry because usually every year when I try and pick the team that I think will be the absolute worst, then end up being the surprise team. Bengals 2 years ago is a perfect example. I really have a hard time imagining any scenario where the Jets win more than 3 games.
Personally, I upped my expectations for the Jets as well. I originally thought they had a ways to go before I would even call them a bad team, but I think that if Sanchez recovers (as he reportedly will) then they'll be a really bad team rather than all-time worst potential that I envisioned for them. I see them as the odds on favorite for the top overall pick. I have them as worse than Jacksonville or Oakland. The only potential wins I see on their schedule are the Bills if their QB situation doesn't improve or the Raiders (Pryor).
If Geno Smith has to start they won't win a single game, and I'll be surprised if he even throws 7 TD's If Sanchez is okay they will win between 3-6 games.
They're 5-7 wins at best. Their O line looked good against the Giants, you know The Snoopy Bowl, and those stooges still gave up the ball 4 times. The player replacing Revis is a mess and was called for PI multiple times, including the 1st pass against him. Rex obviously had to hand his balls in, which showed in todays presser. His best bet is to let his players cuckold him and hope they stay by his side. Then the whole f'n stadium can burn to the ground.
If he starts 16 games, I could see 10-15 TDs easy for Geno, if you include rushing TDs. Of course I also see about 25 INTs to go with it.

Lol..jet fan on how angry they are at the media for making fun of them all the time, their upset, and their not gonna take it.."
So they signed Brady Quinn and the rumor today is that they are going to release Sanchez (who the Raiders wil be all over). Rex wasnt around for cutdown day so that he could see his son play ball.
Wow...so let me get this straight, as per nfl.com... Christ, what a train wreck this team is. And holy hell.... The joke writes itself.
