I did not bring up the eggs but will reply to things I do not agree with on any subject, especially things I am passionate about.
I think it just come down to him not meeting the criteria for a WR that Philbin/Sherman are looking for. I think he's a football player, and deserves a chance on the roster, but if their football philosophy is different than they will have different priorities. I'm not going to sweat it too much, as long as their philosophy bears fruit....
'In the rotation' being the key. He's the fourth guy and we're strong there. Gotta believe he was ahead of Francis. If there's one thing we can take comfort in, this team seems pretty good at developing defensive linemen. You don't want to let talent go, but we're deep and capable here.
@finsjesse How is Francis in the building if he hadn't cleared waivers? What am I missing.? his response... Jesse Agler @finsjesse 2m @Silver_Hornet guessing the meeting he was going to was before waiver claims were made/announced.
I'll sweat and scream like **** Basically what I'm saying is I might disagree with their decision, and will say that, but I won't say they're definitely wrong until their way of doing things is definitively proven as wrong. There's more than one way of winning in this league, I just hope theirs works.
A.J. Francis @AJFrancis410 1m God is so good man... I'm so blessed for this opportunity. Now it's time to eat! #GoPats mother ****er
I can not be certain but how about this scenario. During the waiver period, NE contacts Francis and asks him to sign to their PS. He says no, he is signing to the Phins PS. Then with that already in motion, NE files a late waiver claim just before the Noon EDT deadline and puts him on their 53. He was operating on the assumption he would be on the Phins PS and was thus in the building. Again, I can't be sure but that sounds like what happened.
Omar saying that Brian Tyms, Marvin McNutt, Tristan Okpalaugo and Lee Robinson likeliest for the practice squad.
yeah i guess... it just sucks.. noon had come and gone.. I was operating under the ASSumption that Francis had cleared waivers. But of course it takes 90 minutes for the claims to be reported.. they are still being reported.. I don't know why the league office doesn't setup their own website (with their commercials, getting paid...) to post this information at a drop of a hat. Why do we have to sit here and speculate?
People might think its not a big deal losing a undrafted rookie to the Pats, but its these small moves that keeps the Pats being the Pats and us being who we are and its the small moves that count the most at the end of all things. ****ing Jeff Ireland
makes sense.. but of course.. we don't know until we know. I take back what I said earlier.. this is worse than UDFA process after the draft.
Barry Jackson @flasportsbuzz 1m With AJ Francis claimed by Pats, Fins are adding ex-Rams and ex-Utah State DT Al Lapuaho to practice squad. he was worked out on Friday.. so we had him in on Friday INCASE AJ FRANCIS was claimed. Just like the wr's... nothing better than broadcasting your next move for all to see. Yet we wait until the last possible moment to try and announce our claims in secrecy... lovely
Barry Jackson says the Fins are adding DT Al Lapuaho to practice squad in place of A.J. Francis. He was one of the players they had tried out along with Da'Rick Rogers.

Yes you did. You took an irrelevant, passing comment and went completely off-topic. As always, I encourage you to post on anything you like, just as long as it's on-topic. Thank you
Or maybe not seeing as we claimed Clutts...another great name to go along with Bumphis & McNutt from this season so far.
While I understand what you mean, let's face it; drafting Tom Brady in the 6th round and discovering he was the pick 6, powerball, big time lottery ticket is what is keeping the Pats the Pats. We have seen in the past couple of days that Belicheat doesn't draft any better than we do overall.
Worth nothing that the Rams are also one of the deepest teams in the league on the DL. Whether Lapuaho is as good as Francis, couldn't tell ya. But he was out there and New England certainly valued one over the other.
Francis turned down the Pats then was poached by the Pats which he had nothing to do with yet you call him a MF....AMAZING
But moves like this keep us from gaining ground on them, yes they got Brady but it could also be the system of players they have that keeps them winning, remember what happen the one year Brady went down, they STILL won.
Why are you guys saying **** Jeff Ireland? He help bring in Francis. It was Philbin and his staff that decided to cut him.
turned down by the Pats? He was claimed off waivers... then thanks the Dolphins and all that... then within moments is doing the #GoPats thing on Twitter. Hey, he's an enemy now. I can call him whatever I want... HOWEVER, I wasn't necessarily calling him a MFer... just upset he's no longer with us
