If we get that all year, I'm personally happy with his progress...maybe some more yards, but the % and TD-INT is what the doctor ordered.

 

3 drops gives him easily 40 more yards and maybe another TD. Takes his QB rating over 100.

All the *****ing, moaning and nitpicking here, but Tannehill has been our best player today.

 

This is the preseason. Winning or losing isn't as important as seeing how your starters and contributors perform. Some of the guys were going to need badly this season aren't playing very well, specifically our return team (other than the one nice long return in the second quarter), our run blocking and our TE play. That concerns me, despite the fact we have a 3 point lead in a meaningless game at halftime. I want our guys to look smooth and practiced and they still look rough and unpolished.

I agree his YPA should be higher, but I don't know that Clay dropped it. Looked to me like the DB got his hand in on the pass.

He didn't. That was a drop. Best you can say was that the DB screened the pass a little bit making it a harder catch. But it was a drop.

Need better ciaching decisios on play calling in the red zone. Horrible

Tbh, I really had no idea why the FO chose to sign Gibson in the off season. However, watching the last game and a half, I see why now. He seems to be a bigger, better version of Bess. He looks good.

 

Tannehill better let Lauren do a strip tease or he's being greedy.

I dont see why anyone would be moaning or groaning in here Lol I mean I know we are expecting a good season but we are not going to be the 72 dolphins either... a realistic fan with a realistic expectation for this season should be happy with that first half, Tannehill looking solid, we have an actual group of receivers although some were dropped but they are proven, and on defense Vernon looking great, wheeler played good, Ellerbee made an AWESOME play on a blitz where he sniffed out the play with instinct, I mean I cant remember the last time I saw all these positives from a Dolphins team, w.e ... im happy with what Ive seen.

 

Thomas rushing numbers are hideous.

 

We're currently ahead because Josh Freeman dropped the ball into our laps. No one forced that fumble, he just dropped it.

Because it's time to hold this team to a higher standard. The fact that we're up is fairly meaningless, we should be up by a good deal more. Now this probably means one of two things- either their play on the football field represents little, or this team is not much different from the same team we've seen for most of the past decade, because outside outside of some outstanding performances we're still suffering from the same issues.

Well technically I did PSO in HS at Toledo during my senior year, so both. But Toledo's main rival is BGSU.

 

What I just noticed about the Gibson TD.
Tanny did a great job looking off the safety.
