Sounds like it was a "4th down" from the 20. So he had to throw it in the end zone no matter what. Not concerned.
Awesome. Thought that article sounded like your analysis. I had to go back and check again because the first line threw me off... When I read that line, I assumed the article was something he wrote too. I was shocked. Now I see it is your work, it makes much more sense! Good work and congrats on the regular gig!

good stuff ck, as usual... I've always waited for Carroll to take a step up, great speed and pedigree. Maybe this is his year?
Thanks I appreciate it. What a testament to how people think of Omar though, right? I mean, you pretty much just assumed that Omar penned an article and cited himself in the third person, lol.
Let's hope. He's definitely going to be the guy to get the most chances to step up. He's a step slower, a bit less instinctive, and maybe a little shakier catching the ball than Dustin Keller, but hey, I'd take a poor man's Dustin Keller to replace Dustin Keller right now. Would love to see Clay have a big season!
Maybe more regularity will help him. It helps me. Wait! I mean regularity in targeting will help him drop less passes. Sorry, that could have been misconstrued.
If I could get that wish, right here, right now, I'd take it in a flat second. So would, probably, everyone else on this board. 1) Dolphins/Pack SB, 2) End poverty and hunger, 3) World peace... yeah, that sounds about right.
I'd probably sneak in something about SI swimsuit models and supermodels, somewhere above #2 and #3 for sure.
You guys almost beat them back in 2009. You guys always seem to play tough on the road. You almost beat the Giants on the road the year they won the super bowl.
As you can tell, we are not a very confident bunch That Saints game was awful. We imploded and got really screwed by the refs.
Refs gave them a phantom TD... Same with the Steelers game where Clemmons caused the fumble and the refs gave them the ball back. Refs hate us. I'll be at the MNF Saints game next month. Be interesting in the least. ;-)
Will be there as well. Have been to the last couple of Dolphins games played here, including a preseason game and the one held in Baton Rouge. Saints fans are generally pretty easygoing.
Too bad we weren't playing horse shoes or hand grenades...you know...a sport where "almost" counts for something.
