DBs are aiming low, where in the past they always aimed higher. They are taught now to take out the legs, as a hit below the waist is common now. Yes, they can hit in the thigh, or midsection, but if you are looking to take a guy down, aim low and take out his legs. I am not defending it at all, and it isn't proper tackling technique, but it's what is going to happen. If you think the NFL is going to fine him, or he did something against the rules, he didn't - that is all I am saying. Was it dirty, yes - was it against the rules, no.
