I don't think any of the things you post mean what you think they do....

I think CK means Jeff Adams from Columbia, not Chandler Burden from Kentucky.

okay well maybe you need to go back and read what I said because I never questioned Martin's job security as a RT. that's the side I preferred he play on, and judging by the actions of the team leading up to the draft and even after, that's where they preferred him as well...i mean there's a reason they didn't sign a RT until after they struck out on Long, Albert and McKinnie.

It's cool that Ian Rapoport is Aaron Wilson's source.

John Jerry played LT for 3 or 4 games two years ago and he didn't do it that bad. Probably is the dolphins don't have plans to play him there, but he is another option with experience in case Martin doesn't play well or gets injured.

LOL are you serious? two nationally respected insiders, one of which a Baltimore beat-writer who breaks virtually all Raven-related news, get the same information from their source(s), tweet it for the world to see, but you don't care, you proceed to grasp at straws trying to dismiss it....have some dignity man!

    here's Armando confirming too

sorry if all this isn't definitive enough for you, next time I'll try to intercept a recording between Ireland and the player's agent.

The Ravens writer was just regurgitating what Rapoport said. For all we know, Mando was too. If we did make an offer, it was likely for one year and not a really serious attempt to land him.

Again, you're wrong. Their attempt to Long & Albert had nothing to do with Martin. Forget Lt & Rt and think of it as 2 OTs. Albert & Martin are a better pair of OTs then Martin & Clabo, not because of Martin is on the right vs. left side, but because Albert > Clabo. But clearly not a high 2nd pick better. You said Martin at LT was Plan D.

didn't Martin play LT in college? if so wouldn't he be a more natural fit on the left? iirc he was struggling last year because he was out of position on the right. so I'm not sure why LB would rather him play RT again. but I agree that Albert > Clabo and naturally was their first choice.

These tweets still say "my understanding of" which inidicates his opinion, not any fact....I'm sure there was contact with McKinney, I'm pretty sure there was an understanding of what he was looking for and what we were willing to pay....bottom line is that it wasn't too serious on our part, because a deal could have been made, if it were serious enough on our part...

His game in college was completely overrated relative to where his first round hype was being talked about, after watching his reps from college, and Andrew lucks reps, the elite escapability talent of Andrew luck for those three years saved him on dozens of occasions, and that is not an exaggeration.

The guy is bigger and stronger this year...lets give him a chance to see if he can be average at this point.

The Dolphin website had Adams and Burden listed from Kentucky. I called the HQ and told them they had the wrong school for Adams a few weeks ago. It was a reminder of my OCD Mr. Clean. I am not sure either guy is going to make it on the final roster.

I see they fixed the mistake with Adams. I looked through the link to the media guide and without even trying too hard, or looking over the entire thing, I found two mistakes. I called Scott Greene a few times back in the 1990s with mistakes in the media guide. After a couple of calls they fixed them as I recall. They had put Irv Goode's name with the usual starters somewhere between 1966 and 1969, where they should have had Tom Goode's name. As it regards that era it really was a glaring error, though nowadays it probably doesn't matter to many people. I used to buy a print copy of the media guide for years. Stopped about 5-6 years ago. Just getting too much stuff built up around here.

    Btw, what is OCD?

    Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Eg. When you have a shelf of books all in alphabetical order and get upset if they're out of order, excessive washing of hands every time you touch something, opening and closing a door a certain number of times before leaving a room...or getting upset with spellings/lists on the internet ;). There's all different levels of OCD though, the more extreme examples might stop a person from ever leaving the house for instance.

All true, but so Mr. Clean doesn't get the wrong idea

It can also be as simple and silly as feeling the need to check your work 2-3 times even though you know its right, or other small things that barely impact your life. It can often just be one thing you're compulsive about. As you said...different levels.

True, I think the majority of people "suffer" from some level of OCD, I see it in myself in some things that I do. Of course, it is also said that it can be linked to being of higher intelligence...

I think Lee2000 was joking when he labelled it as OCD. OCD is one of those labels that, often jokingly, gets added to stuff people do, when it may or may not be OCD. I'm not a clinician, so wouldn't know if it really is or not.

Personally, I check things at work again and again, even though I'm sure they're right. I also like stuff to be fairly tidy and in it's place. Some may say that's a mild form of OCD, but I'd more call it being meticulous.
