That's been a nice surprise. From his draft profile I expected a 285 pound mauler, but from his college highlights I saw a guy who moved better than I expected. I think the 262 pound version has shown a notable quickness increase. I see some potential there. I'm not saying the TE position is solved should Keller leave after one season or anything, but I have more hope for Sims than I do for Egnew or than I ever had for Clay.

reporters are making a big (?) deal about the defense being "vanilla" or not blitzing. Seems to me that both offense/defense work on different things different days, and a so-called good day by one doesn't necessarily mean a bad day by the other. All-in-all the QB's are connecting and seem to have been just taking what they are given. Maybe some days the QB is working on check-downs, and reporters are saying "he won't let the ball go deep"... we just don't know until game-time for sure.
