You say made it a joke, many would say he made it as large as it is. Look how much traffic this thread is getting.
If the Heat win this series, this thread will be flooded with Heat fans who have less than 5 posts prior in this thread....it will be humerous.
Its a testament to LeBron James. Without The Decision, nobody really cares about whats happening right now. The NBA knows how to butter its bread.
I agree with the first statement. The second statement is really ridiculous. I love the Heat but I think season is over on Tuesday.
Winning 2 straight against this Spurs team will be tough. However winning game 6 is crucial (obviously) as their role players that are on fire, could FINALLY slack off.
Those are just personality flaws, they are good basketball players!! GEEEZ Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Did you see the part where they won 66 games, 27 in a row, and made the NBA Finals for the third year in a row—playing a different style of ball each year?
Heat just cannot make it easy on themselves can they? Spurs will be on fire for gm #6, they know what it takes to be a champion. Still think we see a gm #7
lol...I'm not trolling at all. If Lebron had that killer instict like Jordan had they'd walk away from this series back-to-back Champions. They may still win it all, but I doubt it.
I've been at work all day and haven't looked at or listened to one sports media site/program all day. This is just my opinion of the Heat and James. More hype than greatness...
Agreed, the only people who reserve the right to laugh in your faces is me and Boik...we've been here from the start.
Even if that pick was inbounds, it was a foul because he moved into him. There were about three more after that that should have been called on Mano. Moving screens are fouls. I can see them letting a few go per game but they need to be more consistant.
I think, for the most part, the ones who've been here, felt bad that the Knicks got hosed by the refs. As much as I wanted to stand up and say "Yippie The Knicks LOST", I couldn't.
Neither have I, just believe when you have DWade and Bron on your team and there are 2 games left in the season, they will find a way to get it done. Bosh needs to step it up as well, atm he is just a "guy" on the floor.
Refs have a serious hard on for Indiana basketball, the Heat were good enough to overcome it the Knicks weren't. One tidbit if Miami loses this series is the fact they were obviously still punch drunk from a game 7 in game 1 of the finals....that ECF had no buisness going 7. Behold the whistleblowers.
I wouldn't laugh in you guys' faces if the Heat lose. (Although I'm laughing at my buddy every other game now). Now if the Heatles break up after only winning 1 championship, I will be doing some trolling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've played 20 years of organized ball starting from junior high and I know you need contact to be called on an illegal screen or foul. What Miller did was like attempting to make a football tackle on a ball carrier out of bounds but completely whiffing then a penalty is called. Anyway, it's silly having a discussion on one dumb play.
I'm not a big fan of small ball, I think you need a high level of fitness to play ball usually but to play 82 NBA games plus playoffs using small ball takes a supreme level of fitness. That's not even mentioning the amount of additional physical pain. The Heat may not have enough young players to do it. I always believed basketball should be played with some change of pace. Going full throttle all the time is tough especially when you rely on the big 3 to consistently give you big minutes. I hope their offensive approach changes for next year.
Well this could be a defining moment in Lebrons career. If he goes out and dominates game six and seven while winning, all critics will be forever silenced IMO.
I'd love it too, but I'd really shake my head if the team came out and proclaimed that they would win "not 1, not 2, not 3.........". Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Will be fiercely debated for years to come In 5000 years when they are writing history books, they will likely look at the archive of this thread We wield a lot of power Stay tuned Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Irrelevant, because "small ball" is now "normal ball" in the NBA. The term "small ball" is just relative to the perceived size of players in the '80s and '90s. The NBA back then was more of a PF/C league, and one of the reasons Shaq dominated for so long (in addition to being really damn good) was the decline of the position as guys like Ewing and Olajuwon and Robinson retired. Rules changes and shorter players mean that today's NBA is more of a shooting guard's league. You don't need towering behemoths to compete, and there quite frankly aren't many available anyway. Dwight Howard, the best center in the game, is "only" 6'11''. Power Forwards today would be considered Small Forwards a decade ago. "Small ball" is now code for "I don't like the Heat but I can't insult them today because they just won something, therefore I will say they are good at something that I will then describe as bad or somehow not important or helpful enough to win a championship." This. And if the Heat win another championship this year, I promise at least one person will try to say "Jordan never needed this many games to win…" or something equally absurd.
