2hrs 31secs. Duper catch. Now that is Concentration. Marino threw it before anything was open. Ball tipped, Duper just snaffled it and his feet inbounds. That play was just awesome.

Here's the play I remember from the AFC Championship. 3rd quarter - Marino was an eligible receiver since he didn't take the snap under center but Roy Foster was called as an ineligible receiver downfield. Joe Rose was also holding on the play (that one was declined).

This could possibly be it, but im like 60% sure it was a different play.... The 60% of me says A) it was earlier in the season, B)the opposing team had lighter colored jerseys, C)the camera view seemed like the offence was headed toward the right of the tv screen, and D)I only got to see a small part of the championship game....

the 40% Im not sure on is...A) I could be way off on the time of year, I lived in florida...the summer and fall stretch out more than they do in South carolina where I live now...B) and c)although I was 100% sure on that last video of koz to judson, I sort of lied to say It was exactly as I remembered....judson ran it back where his right side was closest to the sideline...seems like my memory of it was that it was on the opposite side of the field, where his left side was closest to the sideline. The play was in the right direction though, but i kinda question how I picture my memories in my mind now after 30 years....with that, the razzle dazzle play could have been going in the direction the video shows, but I just reversed it somehow. Could have reversed the jersey colors the same way.......regardless...as Im typing all this, its hitting me.....Marino just caught a pass that was called back...MARINO CAUGHT A FREAKING PASS IN A WIDE OUT PATTERN?....I do remember him run it in for a TD a few times, but I dont recall him ever catching a pass...this just might be baffleing enough to that crazy WTF type play i was talking about after all....lol

I 1st started watching the Phins when Marino had these bunch of Offensive weapons called Clayton, Duper, Moore, Nathan, Jensen, Bruce Hardy & Dan Johnson at TE. They all chipped in. Great days.

Yeah I remember when Miami had packed stadiums that were actually there to see Miami play.

Can anybody pinpoint what was so different back then as compared to now?....A few things I see, football might have been just a little less professional, meaning more fun and more real. I love the fact that in most highlights you see fans so close to the field...look at the 2:08 mark, that captures what Im talking about. Fans ten feet from the players behind a chain link fence! Its almost like a high school game....There's trash on the field in most clips,..hot dog wrappers blowing around or what have you...players looked more natural because they could celebrate and have fun with it back then. The NFL was a glorified backyard sport we all felt we could be part of as part of our childhood,....now its all business and a planned investment for a family outting in your own home town.....
