My guess is "yes", b/c I think the league wants this to go 7. I hate how none of the national discussion mentions that Hibbert was actually the one who pushed Birdman and started this whole thing. It almost feels like there's this rule that the refs can't call fouls on Hibbert even when they're obvious. Has even been in foul trouble once this series?
I think last night was the first time in this series when he was actually being consistently whistled. Also, I don't think Birdman will be suspended, in part because I don't see a parallel between what he did to Hansbrough and what Mohamed did to LeBron. Mohamed attempted an open field tackle before his shove.
My friend is a Pacers fan and he was *****ing about the refs today. All I could think of was "Really? They finally called less than 50 fouls in a game and you're blaming the refs?"
The Heat are done and LBJ is elaving because they won a great game to go up 3-2 in the ECF. Sound logic. Who is saying this? Let me guess, corpulent resident of the City of Losers who also tried to take his talents to south beach, Brian "Breaking" windhorst?
Mike Greenberg. Stephen A Smith said something similar. SAS also said Jon Barry told him the Heat remind him of the Cavs. The logic is this: Lebron's supporting cast is failing him and thus he is going to leave.
It's amazing how, three years later, they still don't know why LeBron left Cleveland in the first place.
They want it to happen so badly. It's funny, everyone wanted him to go to NY or Chicago, now he should go back to Cleveland to join a team that is unlikely to be in the playoffs next year. Think about that. To these clowns a non-playoff team will be more attractive than a team that might have won 3 in a row.
I didn't think the refs were unfair either way last night (not saying they got every call right), though based on what happened in the Chicago series I was expecting Anderson to get tossed for what he did.
http://www.cbssports.com/nba/story/...in-2014-better-believe-it-if-going-gets-tough When is this guy getting his media credentials for the AAA revoked? He can write what he wants from home. Ban him from the arena Mickey like you banned Scott Raab
Must be a challenger to the Clown Shoes Hater of the Year Award donned by Jon Barry. Sent from my phone using Fapatalk 2
They can read his work whether he writes it from home or from the arena. A guy who has basically slandered Dwyane Wade and called him a "dangerous man" should not be allowed to step foot in the arena. I believe in free speech and he can write whatever he likes. But we don't need to let the piece of garbage into our house to do it
Yes, I did read it, and do read his work on ocassion. I sometimes enjoy getting a bit perturbed at a writer, but there is legitimate criticism and then there is what Doyel has laid on Wade in his last two columns. This clown has now used two separate columns to completely smear Dwyane Wade based on a You Tube compilation video put together by a Celtics fan and without attempting to contact Wade to get a quote or an explanation, and when you call Dwyane Wade "dangerous" like he's some psychopath you deserve to be banned from Wade's place of business. If Doyel wants to interview Wade and ask him about these charges face to face, like a man, then he can do it in San Antonio
weakness? The Miami Heat is the best shooting team in the NBA. They might be the best shooting team of all-time as well. (by the numbers in midrange, 3pt. range, and rim) It's just this series that they are cold.
This is a great read: http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-t...fense-redefined-the-eastern-conference-finals Very interesting wrinkle that Spo put in defensively.
So last year never happened? The Heat winning the championship was just a dream? Oh and I love that he is saying "You're stupid if you disagree with me" What an assclown.
Tim Reynolds reported this...but I have a little bit more insight. Kyrie Irving was at game 5 last night. Here is the juicy part....He went into the Heat lockeroom to talk to Lebron James....Coach Spo made a joke about "Our team just got a little bit better". KYRIE IRVING IS SIGNING IN MIAMI FOLKS!!!! (sarcasm)
Dan Gilbert is wondering whether or not to save the word document he was just working on. Sent from my phone using Fapatalk 2
Zach Lowe is very good and this article is very good. But the Birdman-Hansbrough section of this article is infinitely exquisite.
Wonder if this means we go to a small lineup using UD at center and maybe Battier in other instances at the power forward?
Not surprised he was suspended. One can only hope Juwan Howard is now the 1st man off the bench tomorrow.
It works out better when Bosh is guarding West so putting Haslem on Hibbert is the way to go. Joel Anthony will be seeing some playing time for sure. It's a shame he does not have any type of offense but if our jump shooters can connect, it can work just like last season.
