Howdy, hola, g'day..

Longtime listener,first time caller. Been lurkin, figured I'd try and contribute. Good stuff here. It's really reinvigorated my interest in the Dolphins. Ah, where to start...

40 y/o, grew up in Kendall, went to UF, work in finance/investments, Dolphins season ticket holder through the Saban/Cam/Sparano yrs, turned them in a few yrs back when things were bleak and I had a couple rug rats at home.

Hated the Sparano FG celebrations, loved Ricky, excited about Tanny and think Philbin looks like the real deal. Die hard Gator, but grew up on the Canes, so don't throw tomatoes. Gilly has unbelievable vision and Sturgis has a cannon for a leg. Not sold on Jelani, who has the physical talent, but never really impressed me too much at Florida. Nervous about Wallace bc of the $s, but think Ireland did well this offseason. Never been an Ireland hater, but agree it's time for results. At least we got rid of that bum Spielman. Like Ross a bunch and was never bothered by the orange carpet...other than the fact that Landshark beer tastes like camel urine.

Really excited about how this team could develop over the next few years and make a run. Generally, I'm a glass half full kinda guy. Hate the Jets, respect the Pats, feel sorry for the Bills. Think AD is unreal, Harvin is the most electric guy since Barry or Marshall Faulk at SDSU, and Jim Harbaugh is a phenom. Oh what might have been, but at least he's in the NFC.

My Dolphins life began with the killer Bs, AJ Duhe in the mud and Fulton Walker. I was the kid in the north east corner of the OB with the marine air horn bellowing away during the 84 AFC championship win against the Steelers. Sorry if I permanently damaged your hearing. Went the week before against the Seahawks as well and sandwiched in the OB classic on Wednesday. Oh, what a week.

Hate that the OB is gone and wish we could convert Marlins park into a new stadium for the Dolphins. Yeah, I know it will never happen, but I hate that the Dolphins are practically in Broward. Seen more Gator and Cane games than I can count and some immortal games. Was at Hail Flutie, the Frank Reich choke when we were up 31-0 and in the stands for the Gators Choke at Doak. Seems I bring opposing teams good juju. Also attended crazy legs Testaverde's game for 1v2 Miami-Oklahoma. Still dislike Switzer and no fan of Jerry Jones.

Favorite Dolphins memory is the 82 playoff game vs San Diego and remember the hook and lateral like it was yesterday. Oh, and the 85 Bears game as well.

Played WR in HS and think the NFL rules on a completed catch are terrible. Also, pass interference is called way too often, IMO. Mystified by how replay still manages to get so many calls wrong and am still pissed at that crap call against the Steelers at the goal line.

Well, this dissertation probably covers my posting for the next few years, so I'll see you around. I enjoy the great posters here and keep up the good fight. Tanny to Wallace for 6, baby. Boogaloo out.
