It bugs me so much when people can't accept other people's different opinion on various subjects. For example, I work with an older guy. Not old, just older, approaching his 50s. He only listens to old rock, which I don't mind and every time he hears something else he, for a lack of a better words, ****s on it. Stuff like that bothers me. I don't know why. I don't like country music, but I don't talk **** about it or people who listen to it. I respect the fact that others might like it. Or religion. I don't believe in god same way lets a devoted Christian does, but I do believe in a higher power. But neither I, or anybody else knows for fact, I allow the fact that its a possibility, a chance, that the God somebody else believes in might exist. Homosexuality. Same thing. Personally, I don't care who you like, because if you are happy with your partner, I don't give a **** who you love as long as you're happy. But because its different, people can't accept it, therefore they have to **** on it. That's what bugs me about human nature in general. I understand that it's just the way it is, and always will be in one form or another. But the sooner we start respecting each other and each others opinion, even if we don't agree with it, the better we will be of as species. IMO. /rant So what's up, guys?

Got my 5 Year Service award from work today (though a week early). Now I get to pick a gift from a catalog of randomly assembled items.
So now I am a sou chef at a restaurant I work at. our cooks got fired, and we hired 1 new chef, and Ill be his partner. I have two months experience, as I learned while I was working under the old chefs. Should be interesting.
Was just having a nice poop at work, in a the public restroom. My bank is in big office building holding many different businesses. Guy enters bathroom, gets in stall next to me.....i do the whole "sniff" so he knows someone else is there bit. He drops trou, sits, and releases a solid 15 second fart, mixed in with a bunch of squirts, kerplunks, and strains/groans. He immediatley gets DEAD SILENT......I am dying laughing silently, trying not to have him hear.....I pause, breathe, then a small giggle unleashes while simentanously pushing a small fart out (of me).....he starts laughing, I start laughing.....I quickly wipe and leave, never to know who I shared this poop bros moment with. I almost wanted to reach down to high-five him.....
Looks like I'm sticking with my lab certification job, once I get my time in the $ will be great....my old boss where I was making good money still has sour grapes as he feels like I left the company when they needed me most. Will take me back but only if I go back to the bottom. Understand his stance, but I left because I was lost emotionally...I'm too loyal of a person to do that intentionally. My current boss is the owner and the coolest guy you ever could work for (E knows this..him and his lady met us in Indiana and he paid everyone's bill) just an all around good guy. Tough decision because I could use the immediate pay, but I feel like its the best decision long term.
Next Monday (the 20th), I'm going to Houston for a week to tryout at a new job within my company (project engineer). If I like it, and assuming I don't totally make them think I'm inept I'll be moving to Houston full time for that job. It'll be nice if it works out because I won't be traveling like at all, but the relocation process is concerning as I worry about what if my house sits on the market for a while. That'll be very stressful.

lol I wouldn't be able to list my house if I want relocation assistance, a 3rd party company handles all that stuff.
So I may be in Florida a little longer. I will find out tomorrow. I got offered Salary as a Sou Chef at my current job. Like I said, I am learning how to cook as week speak, never been to culinary school, If the offer is good enough I will take it, If not, I will take it, and July comes around I will tell them I got another offer and move back to Vegas. I am hoping to stay so I can watch Phins game, but I have a feeling its going to be a low offer
That's terrible IMO. At least make your plans known if you're going to leave so they can hire someone for when you leave so they aren't left with their hands tied again.

i have this terrible routine setting in, i work in a place where there is a McDonald´s within 4 minutes walking distance....i had like 4 Big Mac meals last week and the worst part is, i could have one right now, still not tired of it
I live near wendys and used to go their all the time, but I have stopped, mainly because I am busy with work now.
I had a stretch where I would hit Wendy's late 4-5 nights a week. Large Chili with crackers, 2 JR Bacon cheeseburger.
Yeah so my job is trying to screw me. They want to pay me 400$ a week. Doesn't sound to bad, right? Well I am already making 10$ and hour. I worked 54 hrs last week, and 51 hrs this week. So I am basicly losing 250$ by getting a promotion and salary. I am going in tomorrow to talk to him about it, because I am getting screwed. Either I get more money, or less hours.
