I was at the game yesterday and boy, was it epic. Felt like a game 7 of the FINALS.

I've beaten the Miami Heat fans relentlessly in that arena, but I take a lot of it back after last night. Our home court was loud and rambunctious!! It was an all out brawl and we stomped on those sore loser, crybaby Bulls

I was referring to a certain PG thats better then what ya'll got in Miami. A certain high profile PG thats about to be a FA this summer.

See this is classy because it involves the Dolphins. Theyre a much more like-able team :)

    Exactly.

It took the Heat all of one game to adjust to Chicago's physical/aggravation tactics. If nothing else I figured they'd just get used to it and keep on rolling. But they indeed pushed back. And that combined with the Heat finding its offense resulted in the Bulls cracking.

When all else failed, frustration boiled over and they they begged out of the game.

Cowherd talking about the Bulls bigs hammering the Heat and the affect on Derrick Rose's return:

"Why the hell would he want to come back in this series? Little guys generally avoid jumping into bar room brawls. Go ahead and take your shots, but LeBron is pretty physical and so is Wade. It'd be nice to get a shot at an emotionally fragile, coming-off-an-ACL franchise player who's 6-3, a buck-85. Like a little running back caught in the air. Take him out, change the franchise...negatively. What, you're offended by that? Get over it, you set the tempo."

    Yep.
Really? Dwayne Wade is a better PG then Chris Paul? Thats cute. Who told you that? Dwayne himself? I like Dwayne Wade but he is not a better PG then CP3. Sorry. Lebron is Lebron, a fullback sized Magic Johnson who has great court vision. Dwayne Wade is a good passer but in terms of PG skills, not on Chris Paul's level just like Paul is not on Wade's level as a scorer.

Disagree. Wade is a lock hall of famer that played PG for the first 8 years of his career for about 60% of games.

he didn't "forget" how to play PG all of a sudden, just because a better version showed up on his team.

I dont disagree hes a HOFER. I disagree he was a PG. Hes a shooting guard no different then Rose being called a PG or AI in his prime being called a PG. Sometimes the size of a player dictates the position hes called but the skillset matches a different role. In Wade's case he was always a SG playing PG. And he was never a Lebron or Chris Paul like passer. He was always a good passer and a great scorer.

this sounds like the "Derrick Rose is not a point guard" argument.

Just sayin'...in his first incarnation (pre-Big Three) he played almost half of the game with the ball in his hands, while being efficient. His Assists per 36 min. compared to usage where RIGHT there with Chris Paul.

You think being called a PG is judged by how much of the game you play with the ball in your hands. I think PG is how much of the game you spend getting the ball in the hands of other players. Wade and Rose are ball-dominant as PG's. Everything they do is predicated on "score first". Their assists generally come on drive and dish setups where the defense collapses down. They arent natural PG's like a Steve Nash or a Rajon Rondo or a Chris Paul who can simply run a layup line based on motion sets and seeing defenses. Not saying they arent great players but calling them PG's is like calling Ronnie Brown a QB just because he played there once in high school. Also, its been at least 3 years now since Wade was the type of player you describe. So how accurate would it be to use that description and those stats when his game and his role has changed a lot?

I was going to bring this up.

You really want Rose to comeback midst a very physicall series? I don't care how long he's been scrimmiging, it's not the same as banging in the paint vs UD or Bird or Bron.
He is not in game shape, no matter how much he runs around practice court in Chicago. Few minutes? Sure.
But will he be effective? I don't think so. Considering it's a mental barrier that he is trying to get over, while getting hit constantly if he goes in the paint.
    Not smart, IMO.
Let him sit out the rest of their season.

    Here is a question.

Last time a traditional point guard won a NBA Championship? (and it wasn't Rondo with Boston...they played with Pierce in a 1-4 in the 4th)

Coach Pop's system had Parker playing off the ball with Ginobli handling late. Then had them in a series of P&R's.

Billups was the closest, but Detroit had a motion offense with Larry Brown, no PG needed for that either.

That dude and his big mouthed wife are asking for it. You don't get in someone's face like that when they are that frustrated. I HATE Noah and the Bulls, but I'm sure it took an enormous amount of restraint and self control to not momentarily lose it and jack them both in the face. I give him credit for that.

There is a huge difference from giving the finger and sticking it in someones face. The players are normal people would you stick your finger in a random guys face like that? No he would knock your head off that lady made all Miami fans look bad.
