In light of seeing NFL.com's start to the top 100 list I feel like everyone would be interested in seeing a more accurate one, its segmented in sets of 10 and on the right side of the page, enjoy! https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/05/03/pffs-top-101-of-2012-the-top-10/
2/101 is less than we'll need to make the playoffs. The 49ers have 13/101 guys on the list. That's over ten percent of the list. Hopefully this year we have greater team success, and thus better individual grades.
Its nice to see a list based on how good players are assessed to be at their respective positions, rather than one attempting to assign value to their teams overall. Whilst this does lead to some oddities like a guard ranking higher than any QB, it avoids the incredibly subjective value judgements that lead to the bizarre omissions and odd rankings in other lists (such as Cameron Wake ranking so low in the NFLN list).
The NFLN list proves that fantasy football has in many ways become more important to the average fan than actual football IMO....they are probably more likely to know who Mr. McGibblet is than Cam Wake.
