It's basically a front page for the internet. People upvote stuff to the front page and downvote things they feel are subpar to their internet experience. The frontpage is ever-evolving links to (MOSTLY) original content not yet seen on the internet. Join and unsubscribe to some of the default channels and add whatever your interests are. Just don't go on r/spacedicks. r/gonewild on the otherhand... Click on the random link up top and just keep pressing it. You'll come across some interesting stuff.

Love seeing american innovation in progress as apposed to all the irrelevant rhetoric you have to hear on mainstream media these days. Good post man.
Sometimes, making a known product significantly better is more innovative than coming up with a new technique that is moderately better. 3 things I like about this kid's idea: 1) safety aspect - having the neutron absorbing tank below the reactor 2) recycling - potentially using diluted "enriched" uranium that is just sitting around 3) using supercritical CO2 instead of water. supercritical CO2 is a wonderful thing. Has dramatically improved a lot of the technology in my labs over the last several years.
My favorite sitcom. Love Sheldon Cooper, but no, I'm more like his nerdy roommate. I do work with a few Sheldon Coopers though. Like I tell my wife, it's better to be the coolest nerd than the average non-nerdy guy. MILFs dig nerds.
