http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/sfl-dolphins-rookie-minicamp-practice-report-20130503,0,2561085.story -- Just watched Caleb Sturgis clear a 50-yard field goal with 8-yards to spare. No rush though. -- Mike Gillislee just broke his second respectable run. Get your card. -- Got my first up close eyeball look of Dion Jordan. He physically looks like Jason Taylor. Long, long arms, long legs. -- The Dolphins have enough players in camp to run a full 1st and 2nd team offense and defense.
Without clicking the link, i can already tell those reports came from Omar Kelly. Must he always end his reports/tweets with those obnoxious little 3-4 word phrases?
Because he got a sack. I've got nothing on him. But if you're there for a "tryout" and you actually do well at the "tryout" one would think it would follow that you'll actually get signed.
Notice Jordan Kovacs already picking off a ball and getting a big hit on Jeff Fuller. Modern day Rudy. Coaches are going to find it difficult to shake him off the roster on cut downs. They might stash him on the practice squad just to keep him around. He's that kind of guy.

Yup. And it's a bigger deal than people think. Zurlein from STL, when he's on, is ridiculous. Having a guy that can consistently hit around and over 50 is a really nice advantage.

It's clear that our rookies could be the Super Bowl champions, if Philbin has the balls to start each one of them. Best class of UDFA in the history of the NFL. [wink]
Speaking of fly, Philbin fly is down Spoiler made you look[\spoiler] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OK, Dude but let's not rush into things. We are stronger then last year, but we haven't gotten to true OTA's yet.
Dion sims is still at 260..lets keep it there big boy. I like Jamars Taylor's joints.. Dion Jordan has the potential to be a strong human being. I love that Philbin said that Jamar and Davis are communicating well with each other.
I was making a joke, didn't work. But anyway, what makes joints someone's joints 'good'? I've never heard of this kind of thing.
"Jaysus H Tebow, that Clay Belton has ugly throwing motion!!! ... and Hey! Is that Tony Sparano over there?!"
- So, it looks like Philbin (former Iowa coach) did a solid for current Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz as we have Ferentz' son in camp. Ferentz and Philbin also have ties back through Worster Academy, though I am not clear if they were there at the same time (Philbin as student and Ferentz as a coach). James Ferentz, the coach's son, is a center who could play some guard. I had a brief read-up on him a few months ago, in case this connection bore fruit, but everything I read led me to think he sucked, quite frankly. Seems like a favor to at least let him try out. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=82602&draftyear=2013&genpos=C - In keeping with the theme of tryouts and signings of sons of people Philbin has connections to, we have Alonzo Highsmith, son of Green Bay personnel man and former Packer player Alonzo Highsmith - Love seeing that Sinkfield had press coverage put on him so coaches could watch him try to beat the jam - Cameron Marshall featured in a few pics, probably because he looks visually impressive. here's why he does, "Greg Marshall has worked as a strength and conditioning coach at the NFL and college levels, so it’s no surprise that his son possesses the power and speed to make an impact on Sundays." (NFL.com draft profile) - Apparently he fought injuries in 2011 and 2012. Sounds like a guy whose body is already breaking down from all the abuse his hard running style between the tackles, and a life of heavy weight training have done to it.
Im not surprised if he makes the team or at least the PW. Hard worker. Smart kid. Tough player . As a Michigan fan i watched him a lot. Really like his game and what he accomplished as a walk on
"i ****ing finally want that new ****ing, awesome looking logo on my practice gear, what the ****....****, ****, ****
