They've hitched their wagons to t wo young qbs, should be interesting to see how it plays out with Tannehill.

Tannehill could easily end up the worst of them all, you never know.

I'd be shocked. He didn't impress me and he had Austin and Bailey. He had some bad throws at times he had all day to throw in the pocket.

This was definitely a poor QB draft.

Geno will be either average good or a bust. I see no all star here. It's a three year player and out of the NFL, or a 8-10 year average player. There's too many players like him now and the NFL coaches catch up fast.

Wow this thread is about as reactionary as it gets.

Milliner is going to be a top10 db in the next few years, Geno smith is at least as competent as tannehill.

Robert wood is a good compliment to stevie johnson. Ej manuel has as much upside as any qb in the draft.

And you're basing this on what?? He hasn't even played one NFL game and was stacked at WVU.

Sorry I meant to say as good as tanne coming out of college. I love Tannehill I'm just saying despite his being in a stats friendly system he put up some eye popping numbers and he can make all the throws.

Smith's attitude might be what sinks him, and playing up here ain't ever easy for a QB, he can ask Mark and Tim.

Yeah he showed his true colors last night when he pouted and decided not to come back for rounds 2 and 3... someone with some wisdom probably convinced him otherwise.

    Geno Smith is Jason Campbell.

(I really don't entirely mean that as a bad thing)

He's already declared the Jets are going to the playoffs.

I agree. If you watch the games, if it wasn't for Austin(mostly) taking Smith's dump offs for huge gains; Geno's numbers would look much worse than they were and they were already fairly low at 7.7 YPA.

Yeah, but he also said "next year" not this year. I hope it was nerves but he didn't sound like the most intelligent person to be picked. When asked to address the fans in the crowd, he addressed the camera and made that statement. Even the interviewer mentioned that the crowd was in the direction of the facility after he addressed the camera. It was comical all around.
